A lovely home with a wonderful atmosphere. Very comfortable, the kitchen was quite nice. for those of you who are buying a JR pass keep in mind that the train station near this house isn't owned by JR; it's owned by seibu, so you can't use your pass. However, it is only 180Y (less than $2) to ride the Seibu train to the nearest JR station. This expense was definitely worth it in my opinion because of the quality of Yoko-san's home.

What a great place! The house is beautiful, clean, and in a great location. It is tucked away in a more residential area of Nakano (a beautiful neighborhood in Tokyo) but it is only a five minute walk to Numabukuro station and also walking distance to many larger attractions like Nakano Broadway. Yoko is very sweet and helpful and was a great host. You can't beat this place for the price. I would definitely stay here again!

Yoko's place is very cute and cozy. It has all the necessary amenities and is not that far of a walk from the station. It's on Seibu-Shinjuku line, which takes you to Takadanobaba (and there you can change to Yamanote line-- essential for all the main stops in Tokyo). Numabukuro station itself has some local izakayas, a small temple, and a public bathouse. I would highly recommend this place for anyone on a budget and looking for a home away from home.

Yoko was lovey to meet and she offered to meet me at the station. I didn't have a SIM card so it was hard to communicate when I landed. The apt is very clean and spacious. The other guests were nice as well. It's nice that it was all female and it's close to the train. Tokyo is tricky to roam when u first land but she gives details to her place as well. So glad I stayed here. It was nice to have a kitchen too. Price was good compared to what else I was finding.

Stayin at Yoko's flat was my favorite place I stayed in Japan. The flat is clean and decorated very nicely. Yoko is so sweet and staying at the flat was very comfortable. It really felt like a home away from home! Thank you Yoko!

I really loved staying at Yoko's place, she is a very nice and friendly person. She always replied to my messages and offered her help to me. When I arrived, she met me at the station and showed me how to get to her place, which was very easy. The whole house was very nice and clean. Yoko provided towels, shampoos and snacks at the fridge. I really enjoyed staying at her house and I would love to go back again

Amazing room and host!! This was my second stay here ( well I never left, just switched rooms as I extended my stay ) This room is very nice with lots of space for your things, very clean, and comfortable. The house in general is also very clean with many details to help your stay be wonderful! Yoko-san is beyond a amazing host. If you need any help she will be there to help you. She went out of her way to help me a few times during my stay and I really appreciated it! I have very happy memories here and was so sad to leave! This has been the best place I've ever stayed at in Japan for sure!
