This hidden gem offers a cozy, peaceful country stay near the lake w/wineries, and river rafting all within a fairly short drive.

The space
Look no further. Our beautifully decorate cottage is the epitome of cozy with an amazing back yard that mimics a country vacation.
Only a few minutes drive from many wedding venues, as well as the Carolina Marina, enjoy time by the lake just a mile down the road.
Our desire is to make your stay a 5 star experience, so please reach out with any questions.
*We offer a fully stocked kitchen with serving pieces that go above and beyond a typical rental (since larger events for our non profit occur in the additional "barn.”
*With three (or four) bedrooms, we've maximized the space with four queen beds and a twin daybed in the fourth room that doubles as a coziest family room/bedroom.
*Decorated with unique interior design touches, you will be cozy and cared for in this cute home.
*Please note we are a non smoking and pet free property which is strictly enforced.
*A huge back yard and deck offers plenty of space for lawn games, plus we have multiple outdoor tables, comfy seating areas with outdoor sofas and chairs, as well as outdoor fire pit.
We have room for parking for those that are staying but note it’s a long, narrow driveway.
**While the gathering barn isn’t part of this reservation, please reach out with questions if looking for additional space. It's the perfect spot for family reunions, showers, company picnics etc.
**The Becoming Cottage extends from our heart of hospitality and is used as a gathering hub for our 501 c3 non profit ministry as we reach out to the community by offering a safe place of respite and welcome. All proceeds offset these costs, so thank you.
Our hope is that as you leave, you will feel refreshed and renewed as you watch the sun set, listen to the geese and frogs or just relax on the outdoor sofas while roasting some marshmallows at the fire pit.

The Owners live a few houses away and ready to help if any needs arise. We do have an outdoor security camera which only points towards driveway/parking.
The separate, unattached gathering barn is available for use with additional donation upon further request.

As an event planner, I want to make your stay as joy filled as possible. If you are looking to plan a gathering and want to be hands off throughout your event, reach out with any special requests.

Tucked back on a country rural road, the cottage does have neighbors on both sides, but this is a long narrow lot, so the large back yard feels very private. The peaceful back yard sits back away from the neighbors homes.
