  • Good location, Only a few train stops to the city. Footscray and seddon have some nice bistro /cafe bars and are within walking distance. Ryan was mainly at work when we were there so had the apartment to ourself most days. Thanks for the stay Ryan . Highly recommend :-)

  • Ryan's flat is in an absolutely perfect location to be able to get the train into the city. The station is just a few minutes walk and the train to Flinders St just 20 minutes.
The area is very peaceful and felt very safe and had the added bonus of free on street parking right outside the flat.
Ryan is a great host who was very organised leaving us a key to get in and a welcome book with all the info we needed, he works such long hours we didn't see much of him. The guest room was very large and comfortable and we very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this as a base to explore the city.
    Thanks Ryan!

  • We had a magnificent time at Ryan's place.
We did not know much about the Footscray/Seddon/Yarraville area beforehand but were so glad that we took the punt to stay in a different part of Melbourne. Ryan's place is so comfortable, easy to get to and has everything you need for a short or long stay.
Ryan was very easy to deal with, the communication was clear and concise and it all added up to a stress-free and enjoyable experience.

  • So perfect for a weekend away with the girl :)
The place is super close to a train station, and Ryan was ready with the necessary swipe cards to get around on public transport (Which really saved us as you NEED them to get anywhere), and was very insightful about what was going on, and what events to check out.
Great communication, wonderful place and location, can't wait to go back!

  • Ryan has been a very good host. The appartment is clean and confortable. Position is a bit far from Melbourne CBD but very well connected, since the train station is 2 min walking from the appartment. Seddon is a very quiet residential suburb.
I reccomend Ryan as an host!

  • Ryan's apartment was situated only 120 meters from the train station which made it very easy to commute. It was neat and tidy and exactly what we required. Due to Ryan's work schedule, we did not get to spend as much time with him as we'd like to. He is a nice guy and it was almost like having our own apartment. He made us feel at home.

  • Ryan has been a very good and helpful host. The place seemed in the middle of nowhere at a first glance, but turned out to be only a short walk away from Yarraville with very good shopping and barhopping possibilities. It is very close to the Seddon station and a very convenient and at the same time quiet location. We would definitely stay there again on our next trip.

  • We had a lovely stay at Ryan's place. The apartment had everything we needed and Ryan was very helpful even though we did not get to meet him in person. Getting there from Rod Laver Arena (Australian Open) was very easy by train. We would recommend Ryan's home for everyone visiting the beautiful Melbourne!

  • The communication with Ryan was great. He always responed back to me immediately. Ryan was on travel, so we had the place to ourselves. The internet was fast. Ryans place is only 5 minutes from the train station and about 20 minutes into the city so that was a big plus for us. We had a great time in Melbourne.

  • Ryan is not at home most of the time so for the money you pay you are equivalent to renting the entire the apartment, which is really great value of money! Although haven't seen Ryan very often he is definitely very helpful and hospitable. And the location and the apartment itself are lovely too!

Sound engineer
I've been living in Melbourne for 3 years now after moving from Perth. I work as a sound engineer setting up for outdoor music festivals or large concerts, also do a lot of touring with bands and theatre shows, so I've been around Australia a few times staying in many hotels and accommodation. I've done a bit of travel overseas, spent a couple of months in the UK and Ireland and just got back from a 6 week tour of the US. Mostly using Airbnb. I've had some great experiences with Airbnb, with some amazing hosts. But i've had a couple of bad ones too, so i know first hand how important communication and reliability is. Looking forward to hosting travelers and doing more travel myself.
