About the Host, Ryan
I've been living in Melbourne for 3 years now after moving from Perth. I work as a sound engineer setting up for outdoor music festivals or large concerts, also do a lot of touring with bands and theatre shows, so I've been around Australia a few times staying in many hotels and accommodation.
I've done a bit of travel overseas, spent a couple of months in the UK and Ireland and just got back from a 6 week tour of the US. Mostly using Airbnb. I've had some great experiences with Airbnb, with some amazing hosts. But i've had a couple of bad ones too, so i know first hand how important communication and reliability is.
Looking forward to hosting travelers and doing more travel myself.
