Bill and sandie were friendly hosts. The apartment below their own house was incredibly clean and well equipped. It was lovely being situated right on the lake and we really enjoyed taking the kayaks out.
We had a lovely stay at Sandy and Bill's. They were so very friendly and helpful and the apartment had everything you would ever need - and more. It was very clean and comfortable - even has a smart t.v. The lake is beautiful and it was nice to be able to use their boats on the lake. Sandy has a knack for decorating - inside and out - making it feel very homey. We were there in early fall but I bet every season is a treat.
Bill and Sandie were excellent hosts!! And the location and view of this place is fantastic, you really couldn't ask for more.
We were up on a trip to our alma mater - myself and two friends - and we were hoping to enjoy the picturesque life a bit more than what ho-hum hotels offer. We found Bill's place and it looked great. I assure you that the pictures cannot do justice to your morning view of the steam rising off the lake and misted forest mountains in the background. Gotta love NH life!
Bill and his wife were both outgoing and welcoming, we really appreciated their hospitality. They had maps laid out for the area, restaurant recommendations (great food is just a few miles up in Keane) and everything was perfectly homey. One could easily sleep 4 in this place but I think you could squeeze in more. And for the odd rainy day we had their new (website hidden) TV to keep us occupied.
And they didn't even kill us for scorching popcorn in the brand-new kitchen!
I really can't recommend Bill + Sandie's place enough. Definitely will stay again next chance I get to go back.
