Located on the Northeast side of Cayuga Lake in the heart of Finger Lakes Wine Country. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, swimming, relaxing in the hot tub, campfires, glorious sunsets and more!
The space
All of the amenities of your home!
Great Room: Quickly upon entering The Sanctuary, you will find yourself in the great room. Here, gather with friends & family to enjoy the priceless lake views, watch TV or play some board games. On a chilly night, cozy up by the electric fireplace. The Great Room, bottom living room and all 6 bedrooms have smart TVs and/or Roku and guests are able to login to their personal accounts to access streaming content.
Master Suite Bedroom (top floor): Windows overlook the lake to capture sunsets and the master bath includes a Jacuzzi tub, double shower, double sink and walk through closet. Bathroom essentials on hand for you to use just in case you forgot something.
Main Floor Bedrooms: Lakeside with queen bed, closet, armoire, & TV. South Room with queen bed, closet, dresser & tv. Bunker's Bay with bunk bed (full size bottom, twin top) with pull out storage under bed & tv.
Lower Level Bedrooms: Main Suite with a King and Queen bed, dressers, tv, & sliding door to outside. Parlor Room with Queen bed, dresser, tv, door to lower deck/hot tub. Living Room includes a queen pull out sofa.
Lower Level Living Room & Dining Area: There is a second living room space on the lower level of the home equipped with comfortable couches & chair, smart TV and a new retro arcade game! Enjoy 12 different games in one or two player versions! There is also a dining table for additional eating space.
Kitchens: The full kitchen on main floor includes stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, & kitchen items. Dining area is attached. There is a kitchenette on bottom floor which includes, refrigerator, stove, sink, microwave & kitchen items. Dining area also attached. Throw dinner in the crock pot & set it and forget it while you go on a boat tour for the day, or fire up the pizza oven after exploring Historic Seneca Falls.
Coffee bar is stocked. Coffee and tea are provided. Basic kitchen necessities such as salt, pepper, some spices, and utensils are available for guestsā convenience.
Outside cooking: A grill on the upper deck allows you to catch the sunset while cooking. Propane provided. There's nothing better than the smell of lake air and BBQ!
Bathrooms: On the main floor there is a full bath with shower and tub and a half bath. A full bath with a Jacuzzi tub is located on the 3rd floor attached to the master bedroom. A 3rd full bath (with shower) is located on the bottom floor.
Laundry: Guests may use washer and dryer on lower level. Laundry detergent provided.
Boat House: Next to the lake, you will find our boat house. Inside, lawn games such as corn hole & badminton, and water floats can be found. There is also a large couch if you need to take a quick siesta! Next to the boat house is where you will find 2 8-ft kayaks, a canoe & lifejackets.
Dock: The dock leads you right into the water, where you can catch some fish, take in the sunset, or dip in the water. Please note, the dock is not permanent, and not capable of tying up large watercraft. There is a mooring point where you can anchor up your boat. Please reach out for more details!
There is plenty of space to enjoy! Even with 14 guests, you will find private space.
Please note that there is the occasional possibility that swimming will be restricted due to the presence of algae in the lake. We will do our best to monitor the status of the lake water and notify guests of any changes.
The Fingerlakes Railway runs along the Lake. 1 to 2 times daily for app. 2 minutes a train will go by the house. Children should always be supervised.

Weāve got you covered for lake fun! During your stay, feel free to use our kayaks, canoe, and oarsātheyāre ready and waiting by the water. Life jackets are provided, but if youāre traveling with little ones, we recommend bringing child-sized safety gear tailored to their size for peace of mind.
š§ Boating Note: Thereās a mooring point off the dock for anchoring boats. If you're planning to bring a jet ski, boat, or other watercraft, just let us know in advance and weāll guide you through the details.
š Swimming & Lake Conditions
We want you to enjoy the lake as much as possible! However, please know that swimming may be limited at times due to naturally occurring algae blooms. We keep an eye on water conditions and will always let you know if anything changes during your stay.
š Nature & The Outdoors
We professionally treat the property to help keep pests at bay, but you may still see the occasional gnat, mosquito, or tiny bugāpart of the charm of lakeside living. Bug spray is a great idea, especially in the evenings.
š„ Lakeside Fire Pit
Thereās nothing like winding down your day with a cozy fire by the lake. Weāll have your first nightās supply of firewood ready when you arrive, and more is available upon request for a small fee. Donāt forget the sāmores!
š Relax in the Hot Tub
Our hot tub on the lower deck is the perfect place to soak, unwind, and take in the view. Whether it's under the stars or with your morning coffee, itās a guest favorite for a reason. Please review the hot tub guidelines before use.

Stroll the lakeside walking path or stretch out on a blanket with a good book.
Lawn chairs are available both on the deck and by the water.
Our lakeside shed is stocked with comfy seatingāincluding a sectional sofa with lake viewsāas well as outdoor games, floats, and more.

Lawn care takes place on Thursdays during the spring and summer.
Trash is collected every Thursday morning.
