  • The guest house sits above a garage and has one bedroom, one bathroom, a Murphy bed and a small kitchen.

As a guest in the guest house you have access to the patio that sits behind the main house and the view is gorgeous! Outstanding actually!

There was no one in the main house when I was visiting & I have a feeling that there usually isn't anyone living there.

The guest house is very nice but needs a few things. First the kitchen: It needs a coffee pot, there was a thermos/coffee pot available that makes at the most 2 cups of coffee & it was dirty. I was told that there is a Starbucks a mile and half away, not very useful to someone who likes to make their own coffee. The coffee mugs are stained and look dirty, I washed them several times and they still looked that way. The few pans that are available are old & scratched. The refrigerator is in great condition and clean. The living room area is nicely kept with a leather sofa. There are three bath towels that are old & there are no beach or hot tub towels, there is a washer/dryer in the unit, so the towels can be washed. The sponges that were available for washing dishes were old and dirty (I bought a new one & left it). There are no paper napkins,or towels, no hand soaps (so bring your own), There also wasn't a manual or book available to tell you how to use things in the guest house. Having one would have helped me with knowing how to turn on the fireplace, heaters, were to put the garbage, restaurants in the area, etc.

I arrived around dinner time on the day of my arrival and Terence couldn't meet me till later. When Terence did check in to make sure I was okay he didn't tell me how to use any of the items mentioned. He did tell me about the Starbucks a mile and half away & he also showed me the back patio and how to use the hot tub. Terence also did call me and invite me and my girls to a couple of events in the area.

  • We had a fabulous stay in Malibu and would highly recommend this place. Terance was an incredible host, attentive and accommodating to our requests and questions. The pictures really don't do the spot justice. The outdoor living space and the views are magnificent. We will definitely be back!

  • If you want to feel like you are a celebrity and living the American dream you must stay at this multimillion dollar estate!! The guest house is stunning with travertine tile, huge exposed wood beams showcasing the soaring wood paneled ceiling and enormous stone fireplace. There is a full kitchen with granite countertops stocked with all the amenities you need if you wish to prepare your meals. Our host contacted us when we were on our way and gave us easy directions to the local market so we could have breakfast foods and snacks just knowing that once we got there we would not want to leave! This is paradise! There is a balcony and a set of french doors you will want to leave open to hear the ocean crashing on the beach. The large bedroom is complete with a queen bed, TV, extra linens, pillows, etc. There is a queen sized murphy bed and washer/dryer too! The bathroom is pure luxury with a double size jacuzzi tub stocked with towels. This is beyond a 5 star resort!! You will not believe the view--beautiful Broad Beach and unending views of the ocean. Take a short walk and your toes are in the sand. The estate has breathtaking landscaping complete with hummingbirds fluttering around! Terence was a gracious host and was so helpful in ensuring we had the best time ever! I feel like we made a new friend. He is amazing and we will be back soon!!

  • We are in love with Malibu and the beach! What a wonderful treat to stay in the guesthouse of this beautiful estate. The grounds and the accommodations were impeccable. We live in the big city so hearing the waves crash during the night was heavenly and relaxing. When in town a reservation at Nobu is a must and we suggest ordering the prix fixe menu. If you have extra time a visit to the Getty Villa should be on the agenda. Terence thanks a million for letting us stay and being our host – I have a feeling we will be making another reservation in the future – I think Malibu suits us.

  • Terrance's place is a one bedroom coach house on an amazing, exclusive estate, overlooking the Pacific ocean. The apartment is located above the garage and has several comfortable seating areas. Steps from the guest house is the main house and the amazing patio with great views and in-ground hot tub. From there you can walk down 40 steps and cross the rarely used/private road, directly to the beautiful, Broad beach. The apartment is very comfortable with tile floors and a stone gas fireplace. There is also a pull down Murphy bed. We had a wonderful stay and would love to stay again.

I love Malibu, and I love having guests enjoy Malibu as well. I always go out all out to make my guests comfortable and let them know all the best places to dine, dance, explore, and shop. I help make rent a car reservations, and I'll set the house up before arrival to my guest's direction. My father had a hotel and I grew up in the business. Therefore, I try to think of everything I can to make my guests comfortable.
