Welcome in one of the most charming and cosy apartments in the Marais-Bastille area, which is one of the nicest areas of Paris.
About the flat:
The flat is 48 m2 on the 2nd floor.
2 separate sleeping rooms, 1 livingroom, large kitchen, bathroom. Every room is with window, so you have plenty of light (and nearly no vis-à-vis). Very calm, view on a nice courtyard with many plants.
Each bedroom is private and independent from the living room.
Both beds are 140 x 200 cm. So in both beds can sleep a couple.
In the living room is a comfortable sofa, one of my favorite chairs (Eames "Eiffel-Chair"), some children chairs a desktop etc.
Wifi-Internet, telephone, washing machine, fully equipped kitchen.
There is also a Bose-docking station for iPhone or iPod (very good sound).
You will find a lot of books (design, art, architecture).
Towels and bedding included.
Around the flat:
2 minutes to walk to the Marais! (the flat is situated between Bastille and Republique on the Marais side)
8 minutes by foot to the Place de Vosges in the Marais
4 minutes by foot to the rue de Bretagne (nice cafes like the Progres which is THE meeting point at the moment and a international market)
15 minutes by foot to the Seine
6 minutes to the nice shopping street rue Franc Bourgois et rue Veille du Temple
Close-by metro - stations:
Richard Lenoir - Ligne 5
Saint Ambroise - Ligne 9
Saint Sébastien Froissart - Ligne 8
nice restaurants :
Cave Saint Gilles
nice shops like "Merci"
a bike rental 2 min. by foot
4 different supermarkets around the corner
and many many more nice places next to my place (you receive a information sheet once you booked).

Ideal location, lovely apartment. Highly recommend.
My family and I had a wonderful stay at Bea's apartment. We love the area because it has great restaurants, shopping, and markets. Bea was very helpful and left us a packet of useful information about the neighborhood. Her apartment is cute, clean, and has a nice full size shower in the bathroom. I highly recommend Bea's apartment if you want to stay in the Marais/Bastille area.
Fantastic apartment, great location - the apartment suited all four of us will for sure come back!
Bea s home is lovely!! We had a great experience there.
A charming and beautifully designed interior, and a great location in Paris. The listing is spot on when it describes the place as an "art apartment"- we didn't meet Bea personally but it's clear from the apartment that she's got a great eye and sense of style.
The location at the edge of Le Marais is great for end-June sales in the shopping district on rue des Francs Bourgeois, or just enjoying Paris in general. Convenient to the metro, and remarkably quiet.
The layout makes good use of space. We have two children age 4 & 6 who shared a double bed in one of the bedrooms, and we had the other. (Also, while everything was great for kids of this age or older, if you have toddlers you should plan to do some of your own babyproofing. Like many Paris apartments this one has windows that a little climber might get out of if unsupervised.)
Bea was great to deal with and we highly recommend both her and the apartment!
Beautiful, cozy apartment in a great neighborhood. Offers privacy; has a charming courtyard entrance. Detailed pre-trip recommendations very helpful to get acquainted with location and restaurants/bars nearby.
Comfortable beds, great bathroom, lots of room at dinner table, small but cozy sitting area. Not crazy about the area, but it is 2 minute walk to the Marais. All around it worked very well for us.
Bea's apartment is really sweet and even cuter in person. I love her style! Everything was very clean and the bed's are comfortable. She gave me great information about bars and restaurants in the area and the wifi was very fast (for France standards). The apartment is not in the Marais however. It is a few blocks away which makes the location not as charming as I thought it would have been. However, it is very close to the Marais and it's easy to walk over there.
Thank you Bea for letting me stay in your sweet home.
nothing more to say!
lovely little apartment.
