About this listing
This beautiful apartment is located parallel to the famous Simon-Dach Strasse with all its bars, restaurants, and coffee places. The street itself is a very quiet one.
The apartment is located on ground level, it has 2 bedrooms, kitchen with dining area, living room, bathroom and a small terrace/garden. It was designed to make you feel at home.
The kitchen has everything you need for cooking a great meal at home (in case you don't feel like eating out).
In the living room you will find a comfy couch that could also be used as a bed when needed, a brand new smart tv with internet access and even a Playstation 3 console with a few games and Blue-ray movies.
The number of attractions around the apartment could last you a few days, starting from hip shops , all kinds of bars with different music and also restaurants with food from all over the world. (I suggest you browse a bit about the street/area). Boxhagener Platz, the East Side Gallery and the O2 arena are just a walking distance from the apartment.
I'll be happy to answer any questions/remarks you might have. :)
IMPORTANT - unfortunately the Berlin Senate passed a law lately saying bookings made after 31.12.2013 will have an additional 5 % city tax. This goes to all bookings make in Berlin - hotels, hostels and vacation apartments, airbnb still doesn't have a system for this and so the payment must be in cash upon arrival.

Hey, we had a great few days in your flat, I really liked the decor and the play station was definitely a bonus.
Check in was smooth. The place is located in a great location close to tons of cafes, restaurants and clubs. The area is very diverse and for the most part quiet, even though it's on the first floor. It's large with lots of light. There's even a cute outdoor area. Pictures are accurate. Our only problem was there a lot of basics missing from the place, including garbage bags and paper towels, which we had to buy.
Rouven & Yeni make us feel super welcome and really went the extra mile for us.
The apartment description was accurate and we really enjoyed it.
The neighborhood is really cool and the location of the apartment in the neighborhood was super with great places just around the corner of the building.
Es hat alles Wunderbar funktioniert, wir wurden liebevoll begrüßt, hatten zwei Schlüssel was bei vier Personen perfekt war, es war alles sauber!
Communication in the lead up to our stay was good and Yeni was at the apartment to greet us as arranged. In addition to showing us around, she gave some hints about the surrounding area. The apartment was well set up with original art pieces and quirky decorations dotted around to give it character and appeal. The shower set up could be improved and privacy to the internal courtyard was a bit of an issue - window coverings would be a good idea. The neighborhood is "challenging" - it has a very vibrant night scene with a range of entertainment from restaurants to edgy bars and red light clubs. By day, the night's debris is all around, and despite the boutique shops and cafes, probably not the best area for families to stay. Berlin is a very large and diverse city full of things to see and do. Do some research to find the neighborhoods best suited to your interests and avoid the ones that aren't your scene!
This apartment was so great. Travelling injured it was so fantastic having a gorgeous spacious groundfloor apartment so close to everything. Security was fantastic. Friedrichshain was my favourite area of Berlin. Yeni was very lovely and helpful. Cannot recommend enough.
