In the middle of Nørrebro, the creative and cultural melting pot of Copenhagen, you find this bright, spacious and trendy apartment. The decoration is personal and creative with a touch of minimalism that leaves room for guests to take a brake.
Bright and spacious apartment on central Nørrebro a 15 min walk from the city center.
The spacious living- and dining room has three big windows turning south which means light and sun all day long. The art on the walls and the very carefully chosen design furniture make you feel the culture of Copenhagen inside the apartment as well as on the streets surrounding it.
I love cooking so the kitchen is well equipped with coffee grinder, mandolin, gas cooker etc.
A quiet, minimalist designed bedroom and a very comfy bed gives the best possible conditions for a good sleep.
The extra doubblematress can change dining room into extra bedroom for 2. And the two couches are comfortable beds as well.
The hallway/stairway is a bit dodgy, but the apartment is clean and cosy with scandinavian deco and design. Note: its on the 4th floor and theres no lift.
Location: 10 min from Nørreport, 5 min from Forum metro station. cafes and shops on the street. 15 min walking to Rådhuspladsen/central Cph. 2 min from Assistens churchyard/ park. 5 min to Jægersborggade. 5 min to Blågårdsgade.
The whole apartment will be yours during your stay.
Interaction with Guests
Before your stay I will send you my own personal recommendations for the neighborhood and Copenhagen in general including suggestions for alternative tourist attractions in CPH.
I will be in the apartment to welcome you and will be available on phone or mail during your whole stay.
Nørrebro is Copenhagen’s multicultural melting pot. Here you have kebab shops next door to designer shops and coffee shops, and this part of town attracts a lot of immigrants and students.
The neighbourhood stretches out from the Assistens Kirkegård, the churchyard, where many famous Danes are buried. The churchyard also acts as a calm, lush breathing space in the middle of the city, and many locals go there to sunbathe, relax and have picnics by the old headstones.
One of Copenhagen’s by far most creative streets is located in Nørrebro 5 minutes away from the apartment on Rantzausgade. Jægersborggade has everything from luxurious vintage clothing in Mélange De Luxe to the wafer-thin, hand-made ceramic design in Inge Vincents’ workshop and gallery. Jægerborggade, that used to be a rough, socially burdened street, is well on its way to becoming Nørrebro’s centre for exciting little shops and high-quality cuisine.
Transport: busstop on the street 50 meters from apartment. Metro (easiest way to get to/ from the airport) 500 meters away. Or rent a bike and get around in copenhagen like a local.
Writing down all the house rules apparently puts you higher on the ranking?! But I dont really have any house rules. I guess I can make that my house rule then.
1) please feel at home
2) take care of my place
3) pls enjoy your stay
Bitten did a great job describing the apartment and when we showed up it was exactly as it looked in the posting. She left us with lots of materials such as maps and suggestions for restaurants and bars in the area. The apartment is well taken care of and clean, has a ton of natural light, and Bitten has done a lovely job decorating. The apartment was in a great location and I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a comfortable apartment close to Copenhagen sights. Thanks Bitten!
Bitten's flat is very nice and design, it feels great. We had a double bed in the bedroom, a mattress in the living room, two sofas are comfortable and large enough to sleep on as well.
The street has many supermarkets, café and fast food just down, very useful for snacks. The district is very nice, we had everything on foot (about 20-30 minutes from downtown).
Bitten was not here but I had his phone number and we exchanged the messages just before, that reassured me. In addition, she had left a list with "tips".
We had a great trip
Bitten n'était pas là mais j'avais son numéro de téléphone et nous nous sommes échangées des messages juste avant ce qui m'a rassuré. De plus, elle nous avait laissé une liste avec ses "bons plans".
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.
Bitten's place is charming even if a bit rough.
It's well located, close to the center.
It was a great stay at Bitten's apartment. We have found a home for three days. Everything was clean and there were friendly nice postcards with some hints for us. We loved to cook and have dinner inside of the apartment. This was easy because there was a lot of space in the living room and also in the kitchen. Supermarkets and a bike rental shop were directly in the same street. Thank you for let us be your guests, it was our pleasure to visit CPH!
Bitten's apartament is very comfortable and quiet, everything was clean. Great location, near there is all that you need (restaurant, bar, supermaket, shop). it's close to the center and a few blocks over there is access to subway to/for airport.
Bittenr is very responsive to all communications, she is a very nice person, and very accommodating! Highly recommended!!! :)
Great apartment! just as the pics show. Loooved all the deco.Felt totally at home. Everything was great and easy, no hassle at all. Bitte was fast to reply and everything was as expected. Bitte left great recommendations on local places to eat, things to do etc. Manfred's restaurant was incredible. Awesome location. Best for those who like to be off the beaten track of tourist scene. Great cafes, bars, restaurants, cool shops, green spaces and lots of amazing second hand stores. Super easy and fast to get to both town and airport. Everything was as per other reviews. I would highly recommend Bitte's place. The only one thing which would be better if fixed, is the mount for the shower handset. It had to be hand held. It didn't bother us but obviously better if fixed.
Would def stay again. Thanks Bitte
We really enjoyed our stay in Bittens apartment. Unfortunately we couldn’t meet Bitten personally but she had organized everything very well before. It’s a bright flat and it has a cozy, typical “Danish” taste. Bitten has combined new and old design pieces and created a nice atmosphere – we felt directly like home. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for up to six persons. The flat has a bathroom including a shower and a sink and a separate toilet (small, but OK ;) ). Furthermore the flat provides three different possibilities for sleeping: One bedroom with a double bed, two couches in the living room and an extra mattress. We stayed there with five persons in the age between 16 and 53 years. So there is enough space to sleep for some days. Bitten is relaxed when it comes to living, there are no prohibitions just useful hints how to use kitchen and bathroom. The flat is in the 4th floor and you can only use the stairs what includes your personal daily fitness program. The flat is located in Norrebro, an upcoming quarter in Copenhagen. You will find several super markets, bakers and cozy bars nearby. Overall it was a really nice stay and we would rent the flat again! Marion & Family
I like traveling and I love my apartment which I rent out when I am traveling myself. I am pretty easygoing which reflects in my home. Its not fancy and shiny, but I have put some effort into creating a cosy, creative and personal home. I like the idea of others using my home when I´m not around and I certainly prefer to stay in someones home rather than a boring hotel room when I am traveling.
I also like:
Good coffee, Jonathan Safran Foer and Franzen, art that makes me wonder, bridges, words, The Wire, Six Feet Under, Seoul, Maputo, music festivals, red wine, scandinavian design, swimming in the canals/ the ocean and much more.
