Warren helped us into the flat and was extremely helpful. He provided us with a map of points of interest in our very near area and showed us everything in the flat. There is a pub around the corner that was a lot of fun and a fish and chips shop down the street. We felt at home immediately. It has a great view of Big Ben and you can hear it ring from the apartment.
We were able to get to London Eye and the other sites in the area within 15 minutes by foot. The Kennington and Vauxhall stations were also close by for transportation as well. The flat is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was easy to work in and the washing machine was good as well. We hope to return to this place again one day!
This location is very good for many reasons. First, it's near the Kennington Tube station and a short walk will get you to Paul's flat.
Second, we walked everyday to all the big sights and it didn't seem far at all! Only a 10 minute walk to the River Thames. We walked at night and it all seemed very safe. Third, there are some nice pubs and cafes close by.
Lastly, the top floor view is great. We could just make out Big Bens clock tower over the buildings.
Paul was very pleasant and did his best to make our experience a positive one.
We would recommend this location.
Me and my boyfriend enjoyed our long weekend at Paul's flat very much. I agree with all the previous reviews: the location is really good, the flat is of good size and comfortable, it's quiet too, bus is convenient and really near and communications with Paul were easy.
Paul was working at the time of our arrival so he arranged his friend Warren to meet us. after contacting Warren we met him at the Black Price pub and he took us to the unit. Warren gave us an excellent brief on the unit and how to operate everything and asked us to ring him with any problems whatsoever.
I and my girlfriend had spent 5 days in this apartment. Paul is friendly and very available. The apartment is very nice, bright and clear, it's situated in beautiful residential complex absorbed in the green. It's near at the Vauxhall station (only 5 minuties walk) and can reach the city-centre in small time. The apartment is equipped with everything and the Big Ben's tolling is amazing; its sound was our alarm. We should visit London and we guarantee that your stay in this apartment will be very good. The price is really good and it's worth it.
This was our first AirBnb stay and we could not have asked for a better host! Paul was an amazing host, he was very flexible with our checkin time as well as our dates!
The apartment was everything we needed and more. Big Ben can be seen and heard from out the window and te apartment was warm and friendly and in an excellent location!
Thanks Paul, we had a great time!
Pauls flat was located in a lively residential area and our favorite part of it was the local pub next door called the Black Prince Pub. It was an easy 20-30 minute walk to the London Eye and its surroundings. The best part about renting with Paul is he was super lenient on our check out time. We were running about two hours behind and he was totally fine with it.
