HOW TO BEST VISIT PARIS IN A FEW DAYS :
1)Public Byke network "Velib" : station is located on corner Rue legendre/Rue Nollet : download the velib application to visit paris by public byke
2) regular RATP BUS : Some regular bus line are crossing the whole Paris and you can enjoy all monuments : for example take the bus 95 at place de clichy to get access to the Louvre, the river seine, Saint Germain, etc, all in one single ticket (2 for the whole line) : must get a Pass navigo for the monday week (16 e) because each time you enter a bus you need to pay a ticket
3) Visit Paris in a 2CV open car : with "4 roues sous 1 parapluie" website.
4)Double deck bus (open tour) : Private double stairs Bus (YELLOW or RED BUS) L'Open Tour is a hop-on, hop-off tour bus service that offers four different tour routes and 50 stops around Paris-- arguably providing the greatest range of choices among tour bus operators in the city of light. The bright-yellow, easily recognizable double-decker bus is good for sightseeing as it boasts a large open deck. Audio commentary is available in English, French and six other languages. While this is a very popular tour, readers have often commented that they found it rather expensive and not necessarily great value for money. My suggestion: take this tour if you're not comfortable getting around on your own and want the security and ease of having someone else determine your route. If not, I'd just get a good map and find your way on your own.
5) by boat : at Pont de l’Alma : bateaux-mouches website (check my guidebook)
a)The longuest tour, the "Paris Grand Tour lasts 2 hours 15 minutes and shuttles visitors around many of the city's most popular sites, including the Louvre Museum, Eiffel Tower, and the Arc de Triomphe.
b)The Montparnasse tour lasts about an hour and covers some of the left bank's most storied places, including the Latin Quarter, Montparnasse and the Invalides.
c)The Montmartre Tour lasts a little over an hour and gives visitors a good overview of the edgier, more modern right bank, with notable stops at the Sacre Coeur basilica, the Moulin Rouge cabaret, the Saint-Martin canal area and classic Paris department stores (Grands Magasins).
d)The Bastille tour lasts around an hour and gives a good glimpse of Paris' dynamic center and Seine-side attractions, including the Centre Pompidou, the trendy Marais district, the Ile Saint Louis and Picasso Museum.
e)Ticketing and boarding time information: One and two-day passes are available and you can take as many tours as you want for the duration the ticket is valid. For complete information on current fares, where to purchase and boarding schedules, visit the Open Tour website. You can also book L'Open Tour tickets online: (Book direct now at Rail Europe).
The Bottom Line: Slightly more expensive than Les Cars Rouges, but offers a more complete range of tours. Take this tour if you want to get a truly complete look at the city's most important sights.
6) the RER C, To visit Paris , you can also use the RER C, down av de clichy , at porte de clichy (one line with many top touristic sites) :
(station : RER C Champ de mars, RER C Pont de l’Alma, RER C Invalides, RER C Musee d’Orsay, RER C St-Michel, RER C Paris Austerlitz, RER C Bibliotheque Francois Mitterand), then :
7) CHEVERNY : check blablacar website ! much better than trains and tourist buses tour (too expensive)
8) NORMANDY BEACHES (DEAUVILLE) : Take train at ST LAZARE (line 13) : only 2 hours to get there (check SNCF website) .
Safety regulations: Paris is nice but wacha because many pickpockets.

Put laundry liquid in the right big box and the soft liquid in the small right.box (both have been cleaned and now we use liquid only)
situated in the cupboard below the sink.
Drying clothes : use the towel hot heater to dry your clothes + the plastic rack behind the fridge with the fan underneath and kindly dont cover heaters with wet clothes to prevent electic shocks (my dryer in the washing machine doesnt fully dry)
5) down neighbors : kindly avoid shoes (flip-flap shoes provided), late loud music and loud tv after 10 pm

8) local sim card : cybercoffee, 91 rue legendre, nearbye !
I couldn't ask for a better host and place to stay while in Paris Guillaume is truely a brilliant host who goes above and beyond ensure you have a plesent stay. His apartment for me was extremely comfortable and convient lovely area with plenty of places to dine and a lovely park all within less then a 5 minute walk.
Thank you so much Guillaume for your wonderful hospitality!!!
Excellent host and the flat is as advertised. The view is very traditional Parisean, so that was the unexpected bonus.
My airline lost my luggage and Guillaume went above and beyond with the offer to help and the assistance provided until I got my bags back. I ended up checking in late because of this and he was very patient and understanding. I'll definitely be staying here again next year.
This has been a wonderful holiday for me and my other half, she loved it.
Guillaume was there to greet us and friendly. He was prompt about servicing our wifi. The drying rack was magical! The location was great and accessible to metro stations. The view from the apt was lovely and very Parisian. He left a pleasant lasting impression.
Thanks for your nice review, Katrina !
Wifi works well and is high speed.Only reset internet box BEFORE opening your ipad because otherwise, it doesnt match !
Drying rack : i use a classic large extendable plastic drying rack (in living room) and i put a fan below, so that clothes get dry within 2 hours max.
There is 3 metro stations around the block : each one of them is at 5 to 10 mn walk (it depends) : and 2 different metro lines.
One can see all pictures from the view of this mansarded flat in my album : it gives a feeling of space and light indeed !
Katrina and i are now friends : Airbnb is a good way to make connections on our small planet !
We had a wonderful experience staying at Guillaume's flat. Guillaume was there to greet us early and welcomed us in even though he hadn't finished cleaning. He provided us with croissants, juice, milk and some basic supplies. He was responsive to a couple of minor problems. On our last day I contacted Guillaume about how to get a taxi to the train station the next morning, he simply arranged it for us.
The flat was clean and well represented by the photos. We loved the full body shower. We used the washing machine. He has a rack to dry clothes as there is no dryer. All of the appliances worked fine.
It is a nice, light apartment in a nice neighborhood with restaurants, groceries, bakery and everything else you would need near by. We felt very safe walking around at night and coming back from the subway late at night. I loved not being in a tourist area. We got a good feel for what living in Paris is really like. We would love to stay there again.
thanks for this very detailed and positiv review (so nice of you two).
Flat is a mansarded very enlighted place with great view on the street. The areas is non formal bourgeois with many small and affordable restaurants
To dry clothes, we use a fan underneath the rack to dry clothes within 2 hours (air drying is sometimes quicker than hot towel rack).
