I have two sturdy, cozy cabins surrounded by organic fruit, trees, privacy, and a sweet valley view. One cabin is the kitchen and other cabin is a bedroom, or a living room with a smaller bed.
This place is perfect for person or two with an rv. This is a back to nature place—elementary, quiet, dark at night, private, safe. I'm looking to rent it by the week or month. Access to organic fruit and produce in season. Includes power, water, wifi.

The space
The kitchen is fairly complete: refrigerator, coffee maker, tea kettle, utensils, dishes, antique wood cook stove, electric skillet, or hot plate. Outside, a fire pit or bbq.
There's a six foot claw foot tub outdoors when filled with water and heated by a fire underneath is fun. Also, there's a wonderful outdoor shower with on-demand hot water.
We supply some firewood. At night, silence and dark skies reign. The whole place is quiet, clean, and very comfortable. Even though its open to the meadow, privacy prevails because of the landscaping and hilly terrain.
The sleeping cabin can be changed to different sized beds to also accommodate a desk or couch. BODY SLEEPS REALLY WELL HERE.
This is a great place to eat cleanly and get in great shape with a walk on the quiet, dead-end county road or a walk up the mountain behind us where there are great trails.
With such comfy lodging, winter outdoor fun for river runners, fisher folk, walkers, photographers..dramatic weather is fun.
This is also a great place for privacy for people/person looking for some restoration time. No temptations for miles. We can supply food from my organic gardens through out the year.

Guest access
You have access to my garden--bring your own grains, meat, tofu and add our farm veggies. Even in the depths of winter there's something in the garden to eat...salad greens in the greenhouse Come help us keep up with the free ranging chicken's gorgeous eggs...The basics are in the kitchen cabin....rice, oil, condiments, hot cereal, tea, coffee...
Doggies welcome...! No leash law--they can play and run, swim in the pond, and charge around on the trails. $25 extra...
There's nice walks into the woods behind our place where we've made trails for easy walking down by the creek or more challenging trails up the hill to a overlook, great at sunset. All the trails are well signed. The upland trails are a great workout and lead to some gorgeous views of the valley and Mt. St. Helen. Our property adjoins with the national forest where there are some magnificent trees.

Our neighborhood is rural, quiet, undeveloped...Away from the city and suburbia, enveloped by nature. Just being at the cabins is great. Walking down our road is peaceful because it's a dead end road with little traffic. The trails are really nice. Along the trails and along the county road are blackberries and wild plums---our roadside has not been sprayed in about 43 yeas. This is a great place to be with yourself with fewer distractions.

Our family has lived here on this place for 46 years and really love it! We've been small scale commercial, certified organic produce farmers for about 25 years--now retired and loving having more time to do anything we want---mostly gardening, kayaking, walking. Country living at it's finest. Ike Kinswa State Park is near here and is really beautiful, safe flat-water kayaking with great beaches for picnics. There are places on the Tilton River 5 minutes from here that require no fees or permits. Presently, we share the place with about 20 chickens so we have lots of eggs...great for quiche, ice cream, anything eggy... We love making ice cream and watching movies....or sitting around the fire and watching the night sky. We love making things out of wood from the place...maple, cedar, elm, plum.... I've traveled some....The water play around here is just as fabulous as the places I've been to in Costa Rica (no alligators, or large snakes!), Hawaii, Florida..... And, just about no bugs!!!
