About This Listing
Our apartment lies in the calm quarter of popular Friedrichshain, an alternative district just some minutes to the city of Berlin. Many cafés, bars and nice mom-and-pop stores are waiting here for your visit. Especially for night owls the near ,,Boxhagener Kietz” has many attractive pubs. We live in an old building of Wilhelmina style near to the wonderful park ,,Volkspark Friedrichshain”. From here you think you can touch the TV-tower.
We live in a three-room apartment with balcony, a bath with tub and a kitchen where you can cook your own meals. There's a cooker with 4 plates, a fridge, a microwave, a coffee dispenser and a dishwasher inside.
It´s a lightful apartment on 78 square meters. Your bedroom accommodates plenty space for you and your properties. There´s also a desk you can use. There´s nice stucco on the ceiling.
Short distance traffic
You walk just three minutes to the tram station. In 11 minutes you reach Alexanderplatz in the city of Berlin. The tram line M10 connect the both popular quarters of ,,Friedrichshain” and ,,Prenzlauer Berg” with each other. All trams run around the clock. In the day time they run all 5 minutes and at night up to all 15 minutes.
The suburban railway station (circle-line around the city) is also only 10 minutes away – to walk. In Berlin trains run so often that you don´t need to know when they come. There´s also a connection to Schönefeld airport – SFX, which will become to new big BER.
Shopping and spare time
There are many supermarkets close to us which are open till late-night. If you need something and it's already late or Sunday there are also Kiosks and small supermarkets in the neighborhood which have open. In our side road are also a nice café and a good German restaurant.
You plan an evening by watching a movie? There is a cinema direct at the tram station. Next to it you find a sports palace which accommodates tennis, football, indoor-basketball, beach-volleyball, squash, badminton, bowling, a sauna and so on. Behind of it there´s the big park ,,Volkspark Friedrichshain”. Many joggers like it and you can celebrate nice barbecues there. In the middle of the park there are two green hills with a lake in between. Listen to some fairy tales at the ,,Märchenbrunnen” and enjoy your ice cream at Schönbrunn-café.
Last but not least: Berlin has so many attractions. Find out!

Thank You, was nice place to stay.
Good connection to the city centre.
The hosts, Julian and Marco, were so nice and kind with us and available for all types of questions. We haven't been that much at home because of our busy planning but we still had fun with them during the times at home after a long day.
The location is well connected to every part of the city.
The room was okay for two, not super spacious but we managed to organize the space at our best. It was very clean.
I will recommend this flat and the hosts too for a real experience in Berlin.
Marco and Julian were very nice and kind. They weren't at the flat everytime, but they gave us great advices about the city, the places to be and the restaurants.
The flat atmosphere was very cool, they really managed to create an oasis !
If I come back to Germany, I'll ask them again.
Marco and Julian were gracious hosts. Their apartment was beautiful, very full of life, and well situated right near several tram lines and the scenic Volkspark. Also not a long walk down to the river and East Side Gallery. Would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Berlin!

About the Host, Marco
my full name is Giuseppe Marco, but everybody calls me Marco.
I live with my boyfriend Julian in this flat and we have much fun together.
I'm working with people with disabilities and my boyfriend is a businessman. We are very humorously and openminded persons. I love to make music, singing, playing guitar, swimming, puzzle and walking. My boyfriend is similar but find out what he lives for.
