  • Lovely large-sized studio in the perfect location in Montmartre! Perfectly situated in a nice, secure building on a quiet street just steps off Rue des Abbesses and the famous Rue Lepic.. not to mention only a few minutes' walk downhill from Sacre-Coeur!

Antoine was a fantastic host - he met me at the flat and gave me helpful tips about the local area, and let me check-out late so I didn't have to trek around town with my luggage.

Perfect Airbnb experience - highly recommended!!

  • We had such a wonderful time in Paris and a big part of that was Antoine's lovely apartment. The location was perfect, on a quiet street so close to Metro stations, bars and restaurants. The flat itself (as others have said) is small, but perfectly formed! Everything you need is here, including a coffee machine, good shower, comfortable bed and a fridge to keep some beer or wine cold! Antoine thoughtfully left us a list of suggested shops nearby, the boulangerie in particular was wonderful. He is a nice guy who was easy to communicate with both before we travelled and once we arrived. I would happily stay here again in the future and will be recommending it to friends and family without hesitation.

  • Antoine is an excellent host. He replies promptly and explained everything in excellent English at check-in, leaving written information about nearby restaurants and the best food shops. The apartment was great - in a really nice block, clean, and excellently situated in Montmartre within easy walking distance of the Metro, Moulin Rouge, Sacre Coeur and a load of excellent food stores along Rue des Abesses. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything you need to make a meal which is good for the budget. We had a great time!

  • Oh, looking at the photo makes me really miss Montmartre! We had a wonderful time in Antoine's flat. He has quite a nice collection of books. The windows open out onto a small courtyard. When the weather is nice, I suggest collecting things to eat by shopping on Rue Lepic, then eating at the little table with the windows wide open. The flat itself is small but the bed is comfortable and the room is neat and tidy. The curtains block the light well, so you can sleep in easily if you need to.
Montmartre is a GREAT part of town. Its lively streets have open shops on Sundays and Mondays, so while the rest of Paris is relaxing you can find lots to do just by hanging out in the area.
We tended not to stay much in the apartment itself (other than sleeping), because it is towards the top of Rue Burq, and up four flights of stairs (no lift). So, when we left in the morning, we knew we weren't going to return until the day was completely done because we didn't want to head all the way back uphill / upstairs.
Overall, the neighborhood is safe, the building is secure, we got a great price and had a wonderful time. Thank you Antoine!

  • Antoine's apartment is in a great location in Montmarte. It's 5 minutes walk to 2 different metro stations, close to a number of supermarkets and surrounded by many great cafes, bars, restaurants and other specialty shops such as bakeries, green grocers etc. Antoine was a good host, leaving a number of helpful tips for the area/Paris and also quick to respond to messages. The apartment was exactly as shown in the pictures and has everything you need for a pleasant stay, including a comfortable bed! The only downside is that the building does not have an elevator, so take this into consideration if you have heavy luggage.

  • Staying at Antoine's was perfect. Great neighborhood with cute bistros, bars, cheese shops and florists. Easy access to the rest of Paris. Room was clean with everything you need and bed was very comfortable. We had no problems, so no reason to contact the host, but he was lovely when we arrived and checked in with us to make sure we were happy during our stay. Cannot recommend more highly!

  • The apartment was ideal for a long weekend for my partner and I. The location is very attractive and has some nice shops and restaurants nearby. Also there is a great little tapas and cocktail bar right opposite the apartment.

The apartment itself is comfortable and has all you need for a weekend. The only problem was there was a very strong smell of cigarettes which was unpleasant. Think it should say in the description that the resident smokes.

Antoine was really friendly and very helpful, booking a restaurant for us and helping in any way he could.

I would recommend this as good place to stay in Paris.

    Response from Antoine:

I'm very sorry for the disconfort caused by the cigarette smell. I'm the usual resident and I don't smoke inside the flat myself. Just before your arrival I let my keys to a friend for few days. I noticed the smell of cigarette after his departure and let the windows open for some time. I guess it wasn't enough. Won't happen again. Sorry again.

  • Great flat in a great location. Antoine was an excellent host. Highly recommended. Thanks again!

  • Great location, really close to the underground (about a 4 minute walk). Lovely little flat full of intrigue. Warm and toasty and clean. It has everything you need. Felt really at home there. Antoinne was a perfect communicator and the whole proccess was totally stress free. Next time I go to Paris, i will definately stay here again. It really is a great neighbourhood, close to central Paris also, so the perfect base for exploring all the sights. Antoinne, many thanks!!
