The location, room and company was brilliant. Tunji was a delightful host and I fell in love with Dao, his dog. The bedroom and house was very peaceful and very close to transport, bars and restaurants. Will be staying here next time in NYC.
The room is exactly how you see in the photos, with a comfy bed and a large private bathroom. The location of the apartment is great, right next to Chinatown and just a few minutes away from the East Broadway F subway station. Tunji is a great host and a super nice and enthusiastic person that makes you feel just like you were at home. Super recomended!! See you soon Tonji!!
Celine & Laurent
Tunji's apartment is in a great location in the LES on a great street with plenty of cafe's, restaurants and boutiques. It provides you with the basics; bed, shower, toilet. It's a 2 minute walk to the F line subway which easily gets you to Times Square, Central Park, Soho and the Brooklyn Bridge. Tunji was away during our stay but had his friend Grace meet us at the apartment and show us the ropes. Tunji was also very helpful during our stay, replying to our messages promptly :). My only criticism is that the apartment backs on to a fairly busy street and can get quite noisey.
Can't wait to get back to NYC
Tunji is a perfect host. He has made us welcome from the first moment. It is very interesting to talk to him and his little dog is a funny one. The room and bathroom were very clean and perfect size. The area is also perfect. A subway station is nearby and there are lot of good restaurants around. Always again :)
Tunji was relaxed and welcoming - the room and bathroom were very clean and with plenty of space. The location is great and it was good value for money. It was a little noisy as on the street side - but we slept pretty well. There is a dog living in the house - I like them so it was fine with me.

About the Host, Tunji
I am a designer and I have worked extensively in Asia, Japan in particular. I live in one of the latest exciting neighborhoods of Manhattan; the lower east side verging on Chinatown; a great location to start exploring downtown. Close to the "F" train within walking distance to Soho, Nolita, also getting to midtown to connecting trains to uptown museums, central park, all Airports and other attractions.
My primary concern is your hospitality and comfort.
Biking around the city all year round is among one of my pleasures, also is dancing, playing soccer, sculpting, painting. I love all genre music that transcends cultures (Jazz, House, Electro, World, Opera, Tango, Flamenco and more...I discover a few spots for listening to music and dance.
Raised in Africa and Europe. I have traveled extensively, I speak and write in French fluently. And I also Japanglish!.
I am a laid back person and respectful to people who welcomes the same. No pretense in all honesty.
