The host - I am a pensioned social anthropologist who have been a (website hidden) host for several years and have hosted for free many guests from different nationalities and cultures who gave me a good time and many interesting conversations. Now my economy has become a little strained why I have started to practice paid bed and breakfast.
no smoking in the flat.
Kirsten's flat was so well-suited to visiting Copenhagen. It was perfectly located near Amalienborg, Rosenborg, the art museum, the Marmorkirken, public transit, and grocery stores. And the flat itself has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Best wishes to Kirsten and her daughter Liselotte who assisted our stay, making for a lovely visit.
Kirsten was unfortunately at the hospital. Her daughter was kind enough to let us in and inform us about the rules and near-by attractions.
I stayed here very recently after booking this place a fair few months ago. Since then while Kirsten was recovering in the hospital, I was let in my Lisalotte (Kirsten's daughter). Thanks for all the recommendations for Copenhagen - they truly improved my trip.
The place is very centrally located and a few minutes walk from a metro station. Lots of groceries, parks and restaurants in the area.
The best bit was the view of the beautiful church as you wake up - what a stunning dome.
Best wishes and hope for Kirsten's quick recovery.
We had a great time in Copenhagen based at Kirsten's home. It was the perfect location for us to explore the city and easy access re transport. We did not want for anything in the apartment and Kirsten's daughter Liselotte was only a text away if we had any questions. We loved our time in Copenhagen.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kirsten's flat. Unfortunately Kirsten had been in an accident and was still hospitalized but her daughter, Liselotte greeted us and made us feel most welcome.
The flat was perfect for the needs of a couple and comfortably furnished. The location is convenient and we felt like locals after a day or two. Oscar's cafe around the corner serves a tasty dinner and there are grocers nearby to buy food for eating in.
Our heartfelt prayers go out to Kirsten and her family as they wait for her recovery. If good fortune allows her to continue hosting, a stay in Kirsten's flat will provide fond memories for years to come.
Lovely stay. Kirstens daughter Liselotte hosted us and was very warm and helpful. Highly recommended.
Séjour très agréable au coeur de Copenhague avec nos remerciements pour l'acceuil chaleureux de Liselotte en absence de Kisten grièvement accidentée. Merci
