The building is from 1964 but is located in the old part of Copenhagen very close to the royal palace, the water front with the Little Mermaid, museums, parks, shopping area, restaurants (Danish as well as ethnics - cheap as well as cuisine), cafees and fast food places. You will be within walking distance to almost all attractions.
There is a beautiful view to the Marble Church from the room.
There are two bus lines (1A and 26) less than 50 metres away. Less than 10 min walk to Østerport Train Station for traffic all over Denmark (including the Airport and Sweden) and also less than 10 min walk (few minutes with bus) to Kongens Nyttorv Metro station for the Airport.
The host - I am a pensioned social anthropologist who have been a (website hidden) host for several years and have hosted for free many guests from different nationalities and cultures who gave me a good time and many interesting conversations. Now my economy has become a little strained why I have started to practice paid bed and breakfast.
no smoking in the flat.
Kirsten was just lovely! She was very welcoming and friendly, and allowed us to make ourselves at home. She was helpful with directions and recommended some great cafes. Her apartment is within walking distance of everything and she was there to let us in no problem. I would happily stay here again.
Kirsten was an amazing host! Her breakfast was fantastic, and the location of her apartment was perfect. She gave us instructions on places to go, eat, and was there whenever we needed her for anything. Thank you, Kirsten, for letting us stay with you.
My friend and me spent a very good days at Kirsten's place. I think is the perfect place for a quite couple or a pair of friends. Even though is near to the station and really close to the center, the room is so quiet and we could sleep very well, no noise, no mess.
Also, Kirsten was so nice with us, and she gave us good tips and was really friendly. We felt like home with her :)
Kirsten was a lovely host, giving lots of advice and asking how my day was even though she was recovering from being quite sick.
The room is great and the flat very central and with a great view.
Lots of interesting books and some beautiful artwork!

I am interested in history, philosophy and religion and like to read - scientific as well as fiction and crime books. I am fond of kilims and have furnished my flat with them. My music interest covers foremost classical music but also folk music from around the world. I am divorced but in good contact with my exhusbond. We have a daughter and a grandson, three years old who means a lo to me.
