The building is from 1964 but is located in the old part of Copenhagen very close to the royal palace, the water front with the Little Mermaid, museums, parks, shopping area, restaurants (Danish as well as ethnics - cheap as well as cuisine), cafees and fast food places. You will be within walking distance to almost all attractions.
There is a beautiful view to the Marble Church from the room.
There are two bus lines (1A and 26) less than 50 metres away. Less than 10 min walk to Østerport Train Station for traffic all over Denmark (including the Airport and Sweden) and also less than 10 min walk (few minutes with bus) to Kongens Nyttorv Metro station for the Airport.
The host - I am a pensioned social anthropologist who have been a hospitality club host for several years and have hosted for free many guests from different nationalities and cultures who gave me a good time and many interesting conversations. Now my economy has become a little strained why I have started to practice paid bed and breakfast.
Kristen was an extremely welcoming host and we appreciated the advice provided to help us get to know Copenhagen. The room was clean and tidy, as were the kitchen and bathroom. Privacy was not an issue. The location of the flat is great, some very nice restaurants nearby, as well as being a 10 min walk from the city centre and major sights.
Kirsten is a fantastic host, she gave us a map of the city and advice on what to see and where to eat and drink. The flat is in a brilliant location, with walking distance to almost all the attractions, metro station is about 15 mins walk, Thanks Kirsten, we had a wonderful time!
We had a wonderful stay at Kirsten's place. She has a lovely apartment in the middle of Copenhagen, close to every part of the city. A good place to stay for a short city trip! I would definitely recommend staying with Kirsten (and rent some bikes if you do!)
This was my first experience with airbnb and i should say that it was absolutely perfect and very positive experience.
Kirsten is such a nice and helpful woman Who let you feel in her house like you where in your on one.
I strongly suggest to have breakfast by her. For only 5 euros we had yogurth and cornflakes, bread and cake handmade, juice, fruits, cheese, jam, tea and coffee.
Cilena and Nice room, very cosy one with a beautiful View around.
Finally the house is really in the center, very nearby to many important places to visit. Positive feedback and strongly suggest ed for many reasons.
Kirsten is a very nice host, she helped me find the way to a church and search the information I need. The flat is in perfect location, with walking distance to almost all the attractions, metro station is about 15 mins walk, supermarket and cafe just next door. It was a pleasant stay, thanks Kirsten!
We had a great weekend at Kirsten's place. She was a great host, very responsive to any questions. She did not mind that we were arriving really late on Friday night - well past midnight. Breakfast was amazing, especially freshly baked home-made rolls. The location is perfect too & we enjoyed the view from the bedroom window over the dome of the marble church.
Kirsten, thank you very much for your hospitality!
Kirsten ist eine sehr kluge und freundliche Frau. Sie ist eine sehr gute Gastgeberin, wir haben uns in Ihrer Wohnung, die sehr ruhig im Centrum liegt, sehr wohl gefühlt.
Kirsten is such a wonderful and accomodating host. She has a warm and welcoming home, not to mention the comfy bed and thick blankets :) She was also kind enough to let us leave our luggages for a few hours after we checked out because our flight was in the evening. We definitely recommend her place! Thanks again, Kirsten!
