Le Tre Chiavi Guesthouse is located in the center of Rome, between the Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo, in the characteristic and historic district Borgo.
This is the ideal place to spend a "Roman Holiday" and reach the most beautiful monuments on foot and in a short time.
Like the other guests, you will be given three keys: one for the building, one for the front door of the apartment and the last one for your room.
Every room is quite big and has a private bathroom inside.
For your beverages you can use the refrigerator (sharing it with other guests in the house).
Notice that it is not possible to cook in the house since our business licence doesn't permit it.
It was renovated in December 2011 and consists of three rooms with a private bathroom in each.
The rates includes: towels and bed linen, tv, fan (summer), cleaning, electricity and heat.
From here in a few minutes, within walking distance, you can reach the Rome’s most beautiful and famous places.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD (RIONE BORGO)
Although heavily transformed during the first half of the 20th century, the Borgo maintains its historical importance as a forecourt to Saint Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Palace.
The Borgo is bordered by Vatican City (Saint Peter's Square) to the west, the Tiber to the east, Prati to the north, the quartiere Aurelio to the southwest and Trastevere to the south.
The main roads run east-west and (with the noteworthy exception of the modern Via della Conciliazione) are not named Vie, but Borghi.
Several high prelates live there: among them, Pope Benedict XVI, who had been living in Borgo Pio for more than twenty years before his election to the Papacy. South of the Passetto the quarter houses only some offices (mainly belonging to the Vatican), an Auditorium, and the huge complex of the Hospital of Santo Spirito.
The apartment is located behind the pedestrian area of Borgo Pio, close to the Vatican.
Nuestra experiencia fue excelente! Angela y Gianpaolo fueron muy amables siempre! La habitación hermosa y muy limpia. El lugar precioso, todo todo increíble! Super recomendable. Graciassss por hacer que nuestros dias sean inolvidables. Roma es Bellisima!
The room was big, clean and nice. The place was really well situated. You can walk to any place in Rome!
Only one thing to improve: please get WIFI!
The room was very comfortable, clean and nice.we really liked the location and Gianpaolo was very nice, easy to communicate with, super helpful with every question and gave a great recommendation for a restaurant.
Camera arredate in maniera essenziale ma con gusto.
Stanze molto silenziose
Ottima la pulizia
Ottima la posizione (5 minuti a piedi da san pietro)
We had pleasure to stay in this room during five days. It is well located only a few minutes away from the Vatican. It was realy quiete during the nigths. The room, the shower and the toilet were cleaned every working-day.
I had a wonderful time in this room! The location is really hard to beat within minutes from both St Peter's and St Angelo Castle. It is a safe place, clean in one of the most desirable locations in Rome! Angela and Gianpaolo were great! They communicated with me before my arrival and made sure I had all the information needed. They were prompt at our meeting. The room was spotless, very well maintained and quiet. The perfect place to relax after a full day walking in Rome!
Strongly recommend this place, I would definitely use it again!
We stayed for two nights in October 2012. It was fantastic. Great location (very close to the St Peter's Square, hop on / hop off bus stops, nice restaurants around the corner), and also at a fraction of the price that my parents paid for a hotel around the corner (but our room was so much better!).
The room was fantastic. We actually stayed in the "Stones" room - great size, very clean, with a nice little courtyard you could sit in. The bed was very comfortable, and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed. The bathroom was a decent size as was the shower, with good water pressure. We knew beforehand that there wasn't any internet access at the property so that was no problem for us.
As for Angela & Gianpaolo - I don't think words could describe how wonderful they were!!! They were both very communicative and helpful prior to our stay, and during as well. They provided clear and relevant information, complete with detailed maps and info on the best way to get there from the airport, as well as which bus to take / directions direct to their door. I was conscious that we may be delayed in getting in due to plane delays but that was no problem for them at all. When we got there they had a selection of their recommended places to eat / visit / tour guides etc. and gave us their personal recommendations, which was a very nice touch.
We would not hesitate at all in recommending staying here - and should we return to Rome again we would most definitely stay again!
Grazie mille Angela & Gianpaolo!
The b&b was very clean and had the things we needed. It is in a very convenient and safe location with good places to eat nearby and a laundry in the same street, which was very useful!
Gianpaolo was very kind and waited for ages as our train was late!! It is very easy to get to/from Termini Station as the bus route close to the B&B is the last stop!
Thank you Gianpaolo & Angela!!
Angela and Gianpaolo were the best hosts! Simply stated: our room was beautifully and elegantly decorated, it was very modern, located in a very good location (only 5min walk to the St. Peter's Basilica!), and the breakfast (coffee/tea/cappuccino and croissant) was served in a cafe nearby. Angela and Gianpaolo were helpful and very kind hosts, they answered all our questions as well as gave us useful information. Overall, our first Airbnb stay was absolutely wonderful!! We fully enjoyed our stay in Rome and would definitely recommend this place to our friends and stay here again the next time we come to Rome! Thank you for everything, hope to see you again! Greetings from Prague, Marie and Tom :-)
Angela and Gianpaolo are the perfect hosts, they did everything they could to make us feel "better" than in home.. The rooms are all very clean and new. It works as a hotel with daily cleaning and breakfast included.
We have been for ten days in Italy and stayed in three accommodatiosn and this was the best by far.
