About This Listing
Threshers Barn is located in the tiny hamlet of East Leigh, nr Harberton, about 3 miles from Totnes & Dartington, Dartmoor is about 10 miles one way, the coast 10 miles the other. Harberton and its ancient pub are about 1.5 miles down the road. The local scenery is spectacular, great for walking and cycling although it is very hilly. I have one double room with ensuite facilities and lovely views over the hills, and 2 single rooms with sole use of shower & loo. I provide bed and continental breakfast, which includes juice, home-made bread and a range of cereals. You can also book an individual session or join in the pilates classes I run from the sunrise room in the 1.5 acre woodland garden. There's free broadband, but even better hardly any light pollution so it's great for stargazing!
This listing is for my double room with ensuite shower and loo, at £45.00 per night. It has a double bed, but is worth noting that it's quite a small one (4ft wide). I also have a single room listed separately under Friendly Welcome in Deepest Devon at £28.00 per night.
The farmhouse kitchen/dining room is a communal area. Breakfast is provided here, but there is no access to cooking facilities.

Sasha is a very warm and relaxed host. The house was wonderfully presented and any need catered for. Absolutely gorgeous setting ... Incredible view out over the garden. Highly recommended
We all had a lovely relaxing and comfortable night at room with a view in Deepest Devon. We arrived to be greeted by a very friendly warm welcome from Sasha who got the kettle on straight away for us after our long drive. Such a beautiful home, and stunning surrounds. We were made to feel very welcome and had everything we needed. The rooms were delightful and we all had the best nights sleep in a peaceful place! It was amazing to wake up and see that Sasha had left an assortment of breakfast goodies with freshly baked bread, and all crockery ready for us. As for finding the house, we did not have any issues as Sasha had given us precise directions which were very easy to follow. Over all a beautiful drive along country roads to find a lovely home with a delightful owner. Thanks for a great stay Sasha, we would love to come back for longer next time and join in on a pilates class or two! :)
We had a wonderful weekend despite the rainy weather. Sasha is a lovely host, she gave us lots of good tips for visits and eats around the area. We especially recommend the Church House Inn in nearby Haberton for an evening meal.
We have felt very much at home at Sasha's, the atmosphere was really relaxed. Our bedroom was bright and cosy with wonderful views. We couldn't have asked for anything more!
Our stay with Sasha was great, just what we wanted. We came down the driveway to be greeted by a fabulous view of the rolling Devon countryside and Sasha came out to meet us. After quick introductions (including the two friendly felines, Betty and Dash), we settled in before making a (hilly!) walk to the local pub, The Church House Inn (approx. 1 mile).
Our room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely en suite and a fantastic view. Sasha kindly provided a more than ample and very tasty breakfast, including home baked goodies. A friendly host with an inviting home - we'll hopefully be revisiting and would definitely recommend.
Sasha was very open and relaxed about sharing her lovely home. Enjoyed my first AirBnB experience :)
lovely cottage, with pleasant guest bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Home baked bread for breakfast.

About the Host, Sasha
I have lived in this area for about a year now, having moved to the South Hams from Exmouth, following a career change, from working for a National Conservation Charity to retraining as a Personal Trainer/Pilates instructor.
