  • This was probably one of the nicest apartments I have stayed in. Our room was very bright and pretty, and had nice high ceilings. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Valeria is a very friendly host. She chatted with us and made us a delicious, typically Italian breakfast each morning with coffee, tea, pastries, cheese, yogurt, eggs, etc. She offered more food than we could eat! It was nice how she had plenty of travel and restaurant information in the room. The apartment was very nicely located, too. It's in a quiet, pretty neighborhood that is very conveniently located for getting to Villa Borghese (a huge park in the north of Rome), the Spanish Steps, and other key locations in the city. There are many good restaurants nearby. Roma Termini train station is close by, too. It was a very good accomodation, and I'm glad we could have a relaxed ending to our Italian trip by staying with her. Valeria is also really helping me so much, because I forgot some small but important item in the room when we left, and she is kindly mailing it back to me in the States. I don't think all hosts would be willing to do that.

  • We had a great time in Rome. Thank you Valeria and Francesco for your hospitality. The map you gave us with the locations and bus stops marked on it was a big help. Breakfast was wonderful as many of your guests said earlier. I can highly recommend this love family. The bus stops are within a couple of minutes walk and you can get to all the major sight in 15 minutes. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe and lots of places to grab a bite. Thank you! <3

  • My parents had stayed at Valeria's place for 4nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Valeria is a very sweet, helpful and wonderful host. My parents were very grateful of Valeria's hospitality and kindness. She prepared breakfast everyday which was fantastic. Their room was perfect and cosy. They definitely recommend Valeria's place.

P/s: my mom misses Pamela and Stefano.

  • WOW thank you Valeria, Francesco and little Stefano for making our stay so welcoming and genuine. This was our first use of Airbnb and we are converted.
Valeria kindly welcomed us with a map showing all the sights and a few offerings of her own. The room was warm, clean and tidy we had use of our own bathroom and the breakfast was plentiful and filling. I never once felt on top of this family. We highly recommend the cake and coffee shop just a couple of doors to the right of the main apartment building doors, called Dolce. The area is not touristy in the slightest, the local supermarket was amazing and there is plenty of eateries around. Within 5-10 mins walk of is the Villa Borghese which is a stunning park with a gallery (book in advance as we tried but had sold out the whole time we where in Rome) The Metro and buses are within 3-10 minutes walk and the main Termini is probably 15min walk. But for the best way to get around just allow yourself to get lost in this wonderful city on foot.
One restaurant we would like to mention is Da Enzo No29 in the cobbold streets of the old town Trastevere close if not on Via Del Vascellari. The pasta is out of this world. It's basic, charming and picturesque. We will be dreaming of this place forever.

  • My friend and I had a lovely stay with Valeria and her husband and son. It was just like we were staying with the family of a close friend. Our favorite part was the delicious breakfast spread she left for us. Our only comment would be that this apartment is a good ways away from the big tourist sights. If you have a short trip and want to be close to things like the Pantheon and Colosseum, this might not be the best part of town for you. But if you want a break from the tourists and want to get to know a new part of Rome, I highly recommend it. It was right by the beautiful Villa Borghese and park, and the apartment was easily accessible by bus.

  • My son and I stayed at Valeria apartments for 6 days! She is a wonderful host, very kind and helpful. She answered all our questions about Rome, gave us a map with bus routes. The room and the bathroom were comfortable and clean. In the morning we had tasty breakfast! In Valeria apartments we felt as in our own home! Valeria, thank you for every day we stay in your home. You and your family the most friendly and positive people I have ever met before!

  • My stay with Valeria was wonderful.!! She is an excellent host and was most helpful in so many ways! Before arrival Valeria had contacted me with directions and advice on how to get from the airport to her place. In addition she was great at helping me navigate Rome by suggesting (& mapping) the best bus routes and metro to points of interest around the city. The bedroom and bathroom were both clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for my stay. Valeria did supply a simple but good breakfast along with much needed coffee. I stayed with her for 2 weeks which allowed for us to get to know each other. Valeria is friendly and kind and is willing to help you get the most out of your trip to the beautiful Eternal City!

  • Valeria was a wonderful host. When I arrived she provided a map of the city as well as a list of the bus routes. The guest room is very welcoming and the breakfast was excellent. The apartment is close to the Villa Borghese and the Catacombs of Priscilla. There are also many small restaurants in the area.
