  • We had a wonderful time at Picaflor. The place was very clean and in a great location! The host was accommodating and welcoming. She helped us arrange taxis to tour the area and even negotiated the price for us. And she packed a sack of snacks for our early departure to Machu Picchu.

  • I could not recommend staying at Picaflor Tambo more highly. My family and I were recommended them by friends and they could not have been more right about the joys of staying at Picaflor. The rooms and the whole setting of the guesthouse are absolutely gorgeous. The location is quiet, but a very short walk from the center of town and just across the way from a lovely hike to Inca Ruins on the mountain above. They were lovely hosts who went above and beyond from making tea to caring for a sick friend to make our stay wonderful.

  • A nice place to stay in an absolutely gorgeous town. Make sure to specify very clearly which room you're interested in (queen bed, family room, etc).

  • Picaflor is a lovely bed and breakfast to stay at. It is conveniently located a few blocks away from Plaza de Armas and is very close to the train station. The host/hostess were extremely helpful and kind. They threw a welcome party and offered us Pisco Sours. Breakfast is prepared daily and it includes a variety of tasty food! Loved the place and would love to stay there again the next time I visit Ollantaytambo!

  • The hotel is very charming and the location is great! The room is well decorated and very cozy. It's near the Plaza de Armas and 15 minutes from the train station by foot (or less then 5 minutes with a taxi - 2 soles). Highly recommended!

  • Great experience! We got in late one night and were gone relatively early (after breakfast) the next morning, but the room was lovely and clean, and the breakfast was yummy (eggs, cheese, olives, bread). Also, the fresh flowers in the room were a nice touch. Thanks!

  • Easily the nicest place in Ollantaytambo. Host was so nice, location was PERFECT. Just 1/2 a block away from some beautiful ruins to hike through. Breakfast was also very accomodating and nice. Super recommended!

  • Very helpful and they let us change our reservation many times as we were going with the flow and were not sure when we would be where. Their flexibility really helped our trip and made it work out for us.

  • We stayed 2 nights here and very glad we did. The location is perfect either just before going to Machu Picchu or coming back. It is very close to the train station and walking distance to cafés and shops. It is a quaint little town with great sight seeing and good food. Picflor was nice and simple. They were very helpful in hiring us a car to Cuzco which I highly recommend for the sight seeing! Overall a nice stay.
