The house is located within the living Inca village of Ollantaytambo and offers you a perfect relaxing "sojourn" and break before or after your next adventure to Machu Picchu, the beauty of our Sacred Valley, Cusco or nearby into the delights of the jungle.
We are pleased to offer six different rooms each with private en suite bathrooms to accommodate single, double or triple guest requirements. Our prices start from $30 per person per night.
The rooms all share an interior courtyard with internal views to the ruins above from our skylight roof. Our rooms have sweeping views to beautiful and historic landscapes from our windows and balconies. All our guests are welcome to share our cosy salon with its warming fireplace.
We also offer a hearty breakfast of local produce to set you up for your day and of course, a full bar to relax after a full and fun day of exploring.
Our house offers the discerning guest a tranquil and unique experience of Peru and its rustic mountain countryside in a comfortable and cosy atmosphere. The house also showcases local craftsmanship and wood carving in traditional local style.
We look forward to helping you with your booking and making your stay with us special.
Very helpful and they let us change our reservation many times as we were going with the flow and were not sure when we would be where. Their flexibility really helped our trip and made it work out for us.
We stayed 2 nights here and very glad we did. The location is perfect either just before going to Machu Picchu or coming back. It is very close to the train station and walking distance to cafés and shops. It is a quaint little town with great sight seeing and good food. Picflor was nice and simple. They were very helpful in hiring us a car to Cuzco which I highly recommend for the sight seeing! Overall a nice stay.
Such a wonderful B n B to stay in. The room and layout fit the overall beauty of Ollanta, and the staff are kind and helpful with any questions. Highly recommended.
Picaflor Tambo is a great place to stay in Ollantaytambo and in the whole Sacred Valley region! Our hosts were very kind and helped us with every info we needed, the interior is nice and cousy!
We highly recommend this place and we will for sure stay here next time we come :)

Lovely experience. Very quaint, welll located. The hosts were very accommodating, room comfortable. We were very comfortable in the room. Would recommend upper room as the building is not well insulated and the views would be better. The host packed us a bag breakfast and had coffee ready for us at 5 a.m. He even was up and hellped us find our way to the train station. The only down we had was the recommended restaurant Puka Rumi. Poor service at the resturant. We would definitely recommend Picaflor Tambo and will stay there again.
We enjoyed staying at Picaflor Tambo as the place is very charming and welcoming. Our hosts were very nice to have our breakfast ready at 5AM. The internet wasn't ideal, but they can offer an aircard which works just fine. We would highly recommend it if you are staying in Ollantaytambo!
What an amazing experience! The Picaflor Tambo is the perfect place to stay if you are planning to explore the Sacred Valley or Machu Picchu. Situated in the town of Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley, Picaflor Tambo is just a couple of blocks away from the main town square and is walking distance to the train station. The host and staff couldn't have been more accommodating. We only spent two nights there, but we felt like we were part of a family. My fiancee wasn't feeling well one morning and our host was wonderful and even motherly in treating her. We liked this place and the staff so much that we vowed to come back every time we visit S. America.
A cozy, friendly and beautiful place to stay for a few days before our big trek! Our host was very accommodating with information about traveling in and out of Ollantaytambo and the family was very sweet. We were happy that they knew enough English to make communicating smooth (as our Spanish is still in rough shape). The rooms we stayed in were super cozy and comfortable. Thank you so much for a lovely stay! —Lisa & Brian
The picaflor guesthouse is a pretty place and all of the descriptions are correct. The staff is very helpful and receive you with open arms. However it seems not that well organized as we did not get the room we booked and were put in a different room (something I read more in retrospective in the reviews). The alternative room was quite smelly and the curtains did not give a lot of privacy. The second day we were moved to a better room. Overall pleasant stay in a nice city many times better en touristic Águas caliente
Picaflor was a lovely site in Ollantaytambo. The staff was charming and so helpful with good suggestions and directions. They allowed us to leave luggage for a few days and welcomed us to hang out after checkout into the afternoon waiting for our train. Breakfasts were good and fun to meet other travelers. The only note is that the first floor rooms were noisy with people in the courtyard or on the stairs. On our return we were given an upstairs room which was wonderful!
