This room is for one person. The bathroom is shared with the other guest room so we limit each bedroom to one guest only.
If you book a stay longer than one week, you are welcome to have a friend or spouse stay for a night or two on the weekend, now and then.
Private room with a queen sized bed. It's very comfy. The room size is about 10 ft. by 13 ft.
Bathroom is shared with another house guest if I have one. The bathroom has two spaces, one with two sinks and the other with the toilet and shower/tub.
Wireless High speed internet is available.
You are welcome to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and we usually have a group dinner once a week. We also invite our guests to join us for dinner now and then.
We are located in a very safe neighborhood. We are only 8 miles from the beach. We have lived here for 13 years. There are a lots of restaurants within 7 miles from the house. Walmart is just a 1/2 mile away. We have a Sprouts grocery nearby, along with a movie theater, gym, Starbucks, retail stores and so on.
We are located about 35 miles from San Diego and 60 miles from Los Angeles. We are just seven miles from the Pacific Ocean and Oceanside Pier, the beach or Marina and the coaster/amtrak station.
There is a bus stop near Walmart.
We have a nice backyard with a view of the mountains. It's very quiet at night. You will sleep well.
We do have two small dogs. They are very cute and friendly. But allergy sufferers beware.
I am also a dog sitter so sometimes I may have more than two dogs in the house but not normally.
Guests are welcome to use the kitchen, living room, dining room and living room. Pretty much every room, really.
You are also welcome to use my beach accessories like, beach towels, chairs and cooler.
Interaction with guests
I interact as much or as little as I feel my guests would like. My husband and work from home. If my guests comes down for breakfast and wants to chat then we are all for it. If they want to just hang out in their room, that's fine too. If they want to share a glass of wine with us in the evening we are up for that! We try and have a group dinner at least once a week.
Other things to note
I rent two rooms out. So sometimes you will be sharing the bathroom with my other guest.
I do watch dogs. So they may be more than 2 dogs here, but normally I do not take extra dogs if I have house guests.
