Interaction with Guests
I interact as much or as little as I feel my guests would like. My husband and I do not work so we are usually home. If my guests comes down for breakfast and wants to chat then we are all for it. If they want to just hang out in their room, that's fine too. If they want to share a glass of wine with us in the evening we are up for that!
My neighborhood is made up of 62 homes. I've lived here for 11 years and my neighbors are friendly so I do know many of them.
I live on a cul de sac so there is almost no car traffic. There is a small park just steps from the house. If you like to walk, you can walk behind the house.
I feel very safe in my neighborhood.
Having a car is best. You can take the coaster or am track into Oceanside. But then you would need to take a taxi to the house. (7 miles) or take the bus.
Other Things to Note
I rent two rooms out. So sometimes you will be sharing the bathroom with my other guest.
I do watch dogs. So they may be more than 2 dogs here.

Kellie's place was perfect for my visit. She and her family (including dogs) are friendly, interesting and welcoming; the neighborhood is nice and quiet yet close to stores, highway, restaurants etc; and the room and bed were very comfortable.
The shared bathroom was fine, and plenty of towels were provided.
It was nice to chat over coffee every morning, and to hear about some of Kellie's travel adventures.
I enjoyed my stay, and would recommend Kellie's place.
A lovely stay in a beautiful, peaceful, welcoming home. The patio is even more lovely than the pictures show.
Kellie's house is beautiful! The location worked well for us as we were going between Pala/Fallbrook area and La Jolla. Parking is a non-issue, seperate bathroom was clean, and the bedroom was great. Kellie was kind and generous, handled the one teeny tiny issue (of no fault of her own) we had and even had a nice bottle of wine waiting for us in our room when we checked in. The bed is soft and luxurious and the double sinks were great for a couple getting ready for a wedding. We would definitely stay with her again!
Kellie and her family were great hosts. The pictures don't do justice to the room-- it is very well decorated, everything was spotless, and has a gorgeous view! I enjoyed chatting with Kellie and her husband over breakfast. This was a great, peaceful place to stay!
Thank you Kellie and family for a wonderful home away from home stay. If you seek just that, you have found the right place to stay. Just wish I had more time to visit with you while there. For sure I will be back next time I need a place to stay in the San Diego area.
