Josh. Is. Awesome. Kind and considerate.
The room is super comfortable. The apartment is clean and trendy. Location is ideal. I think that's all you need to live in a home away from home. Thanks Josh!
I relocated to Boston recently and stayed at Josh’s apartment for 9 days. The apartment is in a convenient location. I walked to the Prudential/Back Bay/Downtown on a daily basis and checked out the neighbourhood's renowned Victorian brownstone buildings, restaurants and small businesses along the way.
The bedroom had a comfortable bed, a desk to set up gadgets, TV, air conditioning and fun decor. It was very thoughtful of Josh to include hangers, towels and empty shelves in the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. The wifi was stable and speedy throughout the apartment and the living room was a cosy space to chill out with my laptop and watch TV. This apartment is really a clean and cosy space elegantly decorated by a welcoming host, I absolutely enjoyed my stay :)
I stayed for 10 days at Josh's apartment for work, extended with a couple of days exploring Boston. Josh is a very friendly and welcoming host, and easy to communicate with. He is also very knowledgeable about Boston architecture, and provided several tips of worthwhile things to see, do and experience around Boston.
The place is beautifully decorated, and has everything you might need for a 10 day stay, including a comfy bed and shower with high water pressure. The neighbourhood is relaxed, and has several nice, small restaurants and parks nearby.
It is also useful to know that most of the popular areas in the Boston town centre are within walking distance, including Prudential Centre, Copley Square/Newbury street, Boston Common Garden and the Waterfront.
Josh was absolutely great and the space was absolutely beautiful; close to everything yet quiet and beautiful. A wonderful option you want to stay in the South End.
I visited Boston for a conference and stayed at Josh's apartment for a week. The apartment is located in the South end of Boston which is a nice and quiet residential area with a big park located nearby. It is also well connected by public transport to go both towards Cambridge or downtown Boston.
The apartment is very classy, and on entering you see this big TV reflected in the mirror and it feels awesome. The whole living room is very well laid out and is not only nice looking but actually very functional too.
The bedroom is very good with a super comfy bed, a lot of pillows :) and desk space to work or just charge all your devices! There is lots of clothing space, hangers, and a nice window to the backyard just above the bed. Josh takes note of small things like making space for toiletries in the bathroom, keeping some fridge space and that as a guest is very pleasing.
Josh is very open and easy to chat with and we had an easy time agreeing to meet. He has some interesting stories, and I feel bad that I didn't have much time to chat. Although I have no experience with pets, his cat was no problem and kinda fun to be around with.
Overall the apartment feels like home, something you can really look forward to when travelling. I will love to stay here again if I visit Boston.
I went for work to Boston and stayed for 9 days with Josh and can say that he is a great, friendly, educated young man with a great spirit and super positive energy.
Josh's place is located in one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods of Boston, the bohemian area is coined by the typical brickhouse style, many local bars and restaurants. Just on the othe side of the street you will find an excellent Colombian as well as Venezuelian places that are both highly recommandable.
On top of that, and I am not exaggerating, you will stay in a place that has just the right mixture of ellegance, cozyness and functionality. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped and wifi the fastest i have probably ever used when travelling.
I can highly recommend staying with Josh while enjoying one of the greatest cities of the U.S.
Everything was just as Josh had described. The apartment is in a really central spot in the South End neighborhood (just across the street from some great little restaurants). Josh was so accommodating and I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in. His cat, Ella, is very sweet and friendly as well. Josh was very thoughtful and considerate in preparing the room - with towels, hangers, empty shelves (in the bedroom and bathroom). The room is set up so well, you don't want to leave...there are plenty of movie channels to binge watch TV on. Absolutely excellent experience. Thanks Josh!
