  • Craig and Meggie are a really nice couple. Although we did not spend much time together, we still managed to have some nice converations. Their home is great and the bus (292) that leads all the way to San Francisco is a block away. :) Everything worked out well for us and we are really grateful for everything! :)

  • We had a wonderful stay! Everything was just as pictured and we enjoyed Craig & Meggie's company and conversation over meals, etc. They cook a lot and it inspired our meal plans for various grocery trips as well! We plan on keeping in touch since we just moved to the area, and thus the reason for our stay. Thanks for everything guys!

  • Craig and Meggie were wonderful hosts. They are a fun and respectful couple. I didn't feel pressure to be entertaining nor do they walk around ignoring you. I had good conversations with them and I had time to be by myself and enjoy my vacation.
I appreciate that they were good at responding to my messages. They were also accommodating (my ride got in late to San Mateo). The rooms are clean, spacious and homey. Not things you get from a hotel.
The booklet with information about the place and the town was much appreciated an helpful. You can tell they are very serious about making sure you feel comfortable and welcomed.
This was my first time using Airbnb and if every place is like Craig and Meggie's then you can't go wrong.

  • Staying at Craig & Meggie's house was my first experience using Airbnb and it was pretty well. I was looking for a nice place in Bay Area between SF and Palo Alto / Mountain View and couldn't have made better choice. Also, Craig and Meggie are friendly, open for insightful conversations and ready to provide any tip about the country, region or neighborhood. Highly recommended for anyone who seeks a host for business or tourism in the region. For those who enjoy technology, Craig is also a tech guy with wide knowledge, which makes a geekie conversation really interesting.

  • Craig and Meggie were fantastic, gracious hosts (even when I accidentally set off a smoke alarm by forgetting to run the fan when I took a hot shower . . . at 6am!). Their place was the perfect spot for us- just a half hour to Moss Beach one way and a half hour to the Oakland airport in the other direction. They were great, interesting company without being pushy, and were completely respectful of us and our space. Would stay with them again in a heartbeat!

  • I stayed with Craig and Meggie for two nights. It was my first experience of booking with airbnb. The room was comfortable and spacious with its own bathroom. I was on my own but it would have been fine for a couple too. The photo is accurate. Craig and Meggie were friendly, hospitable, and kind. They are easy to talk to and have great stories of their own travels. I found the neighborhood to be really interesting and safe to walk around. There is easy access to shops and local restaurants on foot. I had come off a long flight, it was a short taxi ride from San Francisco airport and very welcome to to be able to check-in and jump straight into the shower! No waiting around as I probablynwould have had with a hotel. Craig gave me a map so I could easily find my way to the shops and get what I needed.

It was very easy to share their kitchen and the other facilities available like the wi-fi were really good. I shared a meal with them - much more fun that eating a meal on my own in a local restaurant.

I was looking for an easy stopover on a long journey. Craig and Meggie's place exceeded my expectations; it turned out to be a very pleasant and really interesting start to my holiday.

Many thanks I would certainly like to come back if I was coming to SF again.
