Thank you very much, Peter. We hope to see you back.

  • Myself and two friends stayed here recently. Bus from airport to front door very convenient. Janos apartment was clean, well organised and we received a friendly welcome from Janos friend David. Great street view which was very interesting to us. Once we sorted out where we were in the vast city of Mexico, it was clear how many interesting sites are within walking distance. Small Mexican convenience store just around the corner, some little bars to chat with the local people. Would highly recommend Janos apartment .
    Cheers

  • This is an excellent and truly comfortable way to get the authentic Mexico City experience for an affordable price! Jano's place is incredible, particularly from an architectural perspective. I traveled with a group of four, and we were comfortably accommodated. Jano compiled a guide to the local area (Centro Historico), which we found very helpful. We were greeted by Karolina (who may be Jano's assistant). After that point, we had the place to ourselves for the next three days of our visit. For a historical and touristic experience, the Centro Historico area around the apartment is very interesting. If you are in Mexico City for more than a day or two, I strongly recommend visiting the nearby neighborhoods Polanco and Condesa. Both of these neighborhoods will have additional dining, bars, and shopping options; however, the accommodations in these neighborhoods will be slightly more expensive.

  • One could not ask for much more. The Apartment is wonderful. Karolina is such a great hostess and Jano fast on communicating and suggesting. They are both very helpful.
In the few boxes one is in the heart of the Old Historical Zocolo and the airy open floor plan give the feel of a bigger space then it is.

Highly recommend it if your wanting to be in this area.

  • The past 44 reviewers have established beyond doubt that Casa Tezontle is a great place to stay. And I join the chorus without reservations. A word about the Historic Center of Mexico City: walk its streets, taste its food, see the facades, climb on rooftops and bell towers, see the frescos in the fruit market, and buy anything you want, from clothes to electronics. The Historic Center is the oldest place in the Americas. Don’t go anywhere else in Mexico City before you do some legwork all over the center. Let it seduce you.

  • A very large and very well located apartment. The apartment and the immediate area is very historic and there are many sites within close walking distance. We really enjoyed the high ceilings and patio doors overlooking the street.

Jano's assistants Karolina and David were very helpful and considerate.

We very much enjoyed our stay.
