Why not stay in a genuine 130 year old Victorian Manor House? Built in 1885 Gingberbread Manor now sits on land once owned by the Sheriff of Montreal and is a genuine, legal and professionally run bed and breakfast.

The space
Gingerbread Manor Bed and Breakfast is a full service, legally registered and government inspected bed and breakfast. The Carleton room, a full hot breakfast, housekeeping and a genuine Victorian era manor await you.

The Wolfe&Montcalm room is a cozy room on the top floor with a fantastic view of the city. A queen sized bed with a beautiful headboard is central to the room with a small closet and a vanity table with chair (built in mirror) are in the room as well. Two nightstands provide room to put down your tablet or kindle and your glasses. An alarm clock is also provided. The room is centrally heated and has a built-in air conditioner. A TV with media player and of course full WiFi throughout the house. The bathroom is across the hall and is shared with just one other room.

This is a genuine Victorian era manor house built in 1885 on land once owned by Alexandre-Maurice Delisle, Sheriff of Montreal and a member of the Quebec National Assembly.

Sales taxes of 18.99% (Okay, let's be realistic, 19%) are included (This covers the 3.5% hotel tax, 5% federal sales tax GST and 9.9975% provincial sales tax QST that we are legally required to collect.)

Where you’ll be

Montréal, Québec, Canada

The Plateau is Montreal's most dynamic neighbourhood with hundreds of restaurants within easy walking distance. Right on Avenue Laval, probably the most beautiful street in the city. Half a block away from the beautiful Carre St-Louis city park (or Square St-Louis, if you prefer.) And a block away from Prince Arthur with it's beautiful restaurant terraces.

Live right in a beautiful residential neighbourhood. A quick walk to corner stores, supermarkets, banks, pharmacies and even the government liquor commission. We have a walkability score of 98, bikers score of 94 and a riders score of 100.

Walk to the downtown, Old Montreal (and the Old Port) and a 15 minute walk to Mount Royal.
