In the heart of West Asheville, this 1920's bungalow is a conveniently located home base to explore the area. You'll love coming back 'home' to this beautiful, artful, peaceful oasis. Guests especially enjoy relaxing on the front porch & back deck.
Charming 1920's bungalow - a true sanctuary. This is my personal residence. The house will be all yours when I am away. I have created a warm, inviting and serene environment here. You will feel it as soon as you enter the house.
Relax on the front porch or back deck. Snuggle up to the warmth and beauty of the fireplace in the living room. The bedroom is like being in a tree house -- with great sounds and sights of nature. Enjoy the art throughout the house.
My house is conveniently located in the heart of Asheville's favorite neighborhood, near Haywood Road in West Asheville. You are in walking distance to all the favorite restaurants, grocery stores, coffee and bakery shops, unique stores, yoga studios and music venues in West Asheville. Less than 5 minutes to downtown and the River Arts District. The Biltmore Estate is a little over 5 minutes away and the Blue Ridge Parkway is about 10 minutes away.
If you don't want to drive, the bus stop is very close to my house. Or, you can bike - the ride to downtown and the River Arts District is primarily flat. If you are feeling industrious, you can bike to Biltmore Village, Black Mountain, or even up the river toward Madison County.
Enjoy exploring our wonderful city and area. Come back from your adventures to the comfort of my treasured house. Fully equipped with everything, including central air conditioning and heat, ceiling fans, cable TV, DVD player, and WiFi internet.
My favorite organic free trade coffee beans, coffee grinder, espresso maker and an assortment of herbal teas will be waiting for you in the kitchen. You will find fresh milk and fruit, yogurt or cereal for you in a welcome basket in the refrigerator.
Staying here will be an experience you will not forget. Everything I do to get the house ready for your stay is centered on helping to create a relaxing and enjoyable experience with treasured memories for you.

Chloe's Asheville place served as our home away from home while my wife was taking a workshop with Steven Aimone. The bungalow is very clean and cozy in a quiet quaint neighborhood. She loved the bathtub and the variety of art in the house. I loved that it was close to everything so my chauffeur duties were easy; restaurants, interesting groceries, chocolates, you name it. It's all within a few minutes drive or walk.
We had a great time in Asheville. The house was about 5 minutes to downtown. It was a great place to stay. West Asheville is an awesome place within itself. Check out the West Inn Bakery in West Asheville. It was a great experience and I highly recommend staying at this location!!
Our time at Chloe's house was wonderful and relaxing! We spent evenings by the fire enjoying the sound of the wind chimes outside and relaxed in a warm tub to get away from the snow! The house was clean, comfortable, and most of all cozy. I highly recommend this place as it was close to downtown Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Biltmore Estate, and more!
We really enjoyed Chloe's lovely place even though we missed having much contact with her as she was away for the time we were there. We met briefly when she dropped off decaf coffee for us before she headed out.
The location was ideal, easy walking distance to West Asheville (a GREAT neighborhood), easy driving access from freeways. The space itself was comfortable and beautifully decorated. There is a wonderful outside porch to sit on - feels like you are outside the city center with trees and birds surrounding you.
The listing proved to be a charming, accessible base of operations during our month-long stay in West Asheville. You can literally hear the
buzz from the adjoining Haywood Avenue strip with its abundance of coffee bars, casual and quirky cafes, music venues that run the spectrum from bluegrass to alternative rock, and the vibrant community attracted
by all these cool amenities. Although compact, the house lacked for
nothing, and the porch...a writer's dream, especially during September
with its late-summer warmth by day, and pleasantly chilly evenings and early mornings. A far cry from my home base of Wellington, FL which continues to bake in the tropical sun until early Nov. Leaving was hard
but I suspect we'll be return visitors before too long.
Chloe has this down to a science. No detail is left out. Her home is clean and nicely decorated. Bed is comfy and the bathrooms fully appointed. Nice kitchen for its compact size, too. A huge plus is the home's location. We were within a few minute's walk to a lot of fabulous restaurants and stores.
2 thumbs up!

I have been here since 2007, and continue to fall more deeply in love with Asheville. I adore my neighborhood, West Asheville. It is super friendly and very community-oriented. It truly has the charm of an old-fashioned neighborhood.
