3 newly refurnished and finely decorated rooms in the heart of the town of La Spezia, a few steps away from the railway station and the departure point of buses and ferries to the 5 Terre, Portovenere, Lerici, Tellaro, Portofino and the several amenities of the Poet's gulf. The closeness to the train station is an added value since it facilitates the arrival and departure to and from the structure at any time of the day and night, for example if you're returning from an excursion in the middle of the night or if you want to check out really early in the morning if your train leaves early, since it allows to go to the train station without needing a taxi or bus.
In the structure there are two couple rooms, the green and pink room, and a single room, aubergine colour.
The price in the couple rooms per person is 30 euros per night, for a total of 60 euros per night. The price for one person in the single room instead is 38 euros per night.
It is also possible to book the couple room even if you are alone, with a small extra fee on the price that you would pay for the single room (obviously I am not able to offer a double room at the same price as a single room).
On request it is possible to add a foldable bed for a third person in the pink bedroom.
Since the single room (aubergine color) has a very big and comfortable bed for a person alone (120cm wide) if the other couple bedrooms are all booked, it is possible to book the aubergine bedroom for two people, asking the host in advance.
All rooms have private bathroom, hairdrier, safe, tv, air conditioning, free wifi, mini fridge, key card, and obviously bed linen and towels.
Breakfast is not provided but there is plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as all sort of shops and the fruit and veg market.
Also, if you travel by car, it is possible to park it in either the streets around the structure or if you prefer, in an underground parking under the square of the station (100 meters away from the structure). The streets will require a payment only during the day from 8am to 8pm excluding Sundays when it is free, whilst the underground parking requires a payment both day and night, with a cheaper rate at night. If you wish to park for free there is a free parking area 900 meters away, where a free shuttle bus is available to take you to the town centre.
Andrea was kind enough to meet us at the train station & take us to our lovely room. He made sure that we had everything that we needed for a great nights stay in La Spezia and recommended a selection of restaurants to eat at.
The room was fantastic! It was the perfect place for us to freshen up on our travels around Italy.
Nice room, well located, very helpful and flexible host
My husband and I stayed in one of Andrea's rooms for one night to hike in Cinque Terre for a day before heading to France. The room was clean, quiet, and had modern fixtures in the bathroom. Andrea was helpful in helping us find free parking and offered to drive us to the train station.
Andrea was a very good host. Even if it not his house and it's just a room it was very nice. He came to pick us up to the train station and he gave us nice advices. Thanks to him we visited a really beautiful town that it was not in our plans and had dinner in a very good restaurant. The room was very clean. I definitely recommend it!
I have short time in laspezia. This apartment nearly train station. Andrea come to pick up me to home. So nice.
Andrea was very helpful and picked us up from the train station. He gave us a very good introduction to the city of La Spezia and made very good dinner recommendation on our first night. He also provided very helpful tips for our day trip to Cinque Terre.
The location of the room is very near the train station (5 mins without luggage). His room was really cute and cosy (the picture don't do them justice). The room was also very well furnished and clean.
Andrea was very responsive to whatever problems that we had. He made our visit very memorable.
We stayed for one night in all the three rooms. The rooms were superbly clean. The apartment is very near to the train station (easy access to Cinque Terre) and is also near to the city center (shops, restaurants, etc).
Andrea was very very helpful in helping us plan our visit to Cinque Terre. He spent about 45 minutes explaining and giving suggestion on things to do and places to eat (didn't get a chance to eat at the fish restaurant near the port that he suggested as the queue was too long). He even saved a parking spot(free) for us near the apartment.
All in all, worth the money and would definitely recommend staying here :)
Andrea takes very good care of his guests. He made sure everything was okay and he had great tips on places to visit. The room is small and a bit dark, but the location next to the train station is great when visiting the cinque terre.
When we arrived a bit early, Andrea came over asap to hand us the room keycard and explained everyting in the room. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. Proper bed and nice shower. When I forgot my mobile charger, I got an sms that I could pick it up if I had the time :) parking under the train station was really close and affordable, €1,20 during the day and €0,50 during the night (from (phone number hidden)).
This is the final rate, including any fees from the host and Airbnb.
