The Space

It’s not necessary to spend a lot of money for a holiday home in overcrowded touristic places.

Livorno can offer you much more than this!

Sea, sun and fun for tourists, available for a very competitive price. This wonderful and romantic city that overlooks the Tyrrhenian sea can offer you an experience of times gone by.

The best way to enjoy Livorno is to stay in a fresh and typical house.
Situated in the city center, on the ground floor with independent entrance, far away from noises and close to several shops, markets and tobacconist's, the flat is just a few steps away from all the public transports.

The flat is composed by:

- Indipendent entrance, directly on the street
- Kitchen + dining room with a table for 8 peolple and a sofa bed (it's bigger than a single bed and smaller than a double bed, right in between).
- Access room
- Bathroom with shower
- Double bedroom with a large wardrobe
- Single bedroom (a second single bed can be added if necessary)
- External utility room with a washing machine and a sink
- Small external space to hang out the loundry, suitable for small animals

In each room there is an air-conditioner.

Bikes can be brought directly into the flat.

Animals are welcome. It's possible also to keep them into the small external space on the back.

The bathing establishments can be reached in 10 mins by car/ 15 mins by bus/ 30 mins on foot.

The natural cliffs are about 10 mins far away by car (thanks to the close SS1 road)/ 30 mins by bus.

The flat is located in the city center and several bus stops are reachable in just 1 minute on foot.
Public transports give the possibility to reach every place, in the town and along the seaside.
The railway station is reachable in about 5 mins by car/ 10 mins by bus/ 20 mins on foot/ 10 mins by bike (through the cycle lane).
In front of the house there are at least 3 restaurants/pizza-restaurants, a supermarket (500 mt) and tobacconist's.
The famous ancient Venezia quarter is only 1 km away.

- It's possible to park the car close to the flat only on Sunday or during bank holydays. There are other 2 parking areas, both about 500 mt away, where it's possible to park for free
- inside the flat there isn't the TV and the connection for the antenna.
- bedclothes and towels not provided. If needed you can have with a very little extra

  • Gianluca and his father Norberto are the best, this is out of question. I came back to goanluva's flat this year too and it always feels like home.

Clean, cozy, central, you can't ask for more.

    I definitely recommend a visit!

  • Such a lovely stay! I didn't meet Gianluca, but his father Norberto picked me up at the station and drove me to the apartment. The apartment was very spacious, well-stocked, and clean. The only downside is that there is no wi-fi. But the location is great, just outside the center of Livorno - an easy 10-15 minute walk to the town center. I would definitely recommend staying here if you travel to Livorno!

  • Gianluca was a wonderful host. Him and his father are very kind people with excellent hospitality! The apartment was very clean, well equipped, and spacious. The apartment is also walking distance to the big main business street with many shops and coffee shops. If you don't mind walking a couple miles you can also walk to the beach and see the ocean. The beaches nearby aren't particularly large, so don't expect to play in any sand near the shore.
Norberto (Gianluca's father) was extremely kind, he even picked me up at the train station and also drove me back to the station when I left.

  • Gianluca is very helpful householder, he gave main information about Livorno, its attractions and all necessary places. His flat is very cozy, spacious and clean, but his bed is some creaky ;-) Gianluca and Irene save us from very inconvenient situation.

    Grazie mille for our stay!

  • Gianluca was a wonderful host and his apartment very beautiful, clean, and spacious; located in the heart of Livorno, with all sites of interest being in a pleasant walking distance. On the same street there is an excellent café where we had tasty and cheap breakfast every day, and another great place serving traditional Livornian Torta di Ceci. There are lot of other restaurants and shops in the area, beautiful canals reminiscent of Venice, excellent gelato... :) In all, it was a truly hedonistic experience. Absolutely recommend.

  • Beautiful, sizable place ideally located right off the centre of the town, 10 minutes walk to the utterly amazing food market and bus terminus, 15 minutes to the port, 25 to the train station. Well equipped with everything needed for a self-catering holiday, perfectly positioned as a base for exploring Tuscany (the owner's description really doesn't lie!). The kitchen corner is fairly small and the area for food preparation limited, however the big table offers more than sufficient additional space. We didn't meet Gianluca but his parents who welcomed us were very nice and helpful. Would recommend and return any time!
P.S. - Do not believe the hype that Livorno is ugly: yes, it's no quaint Tuscan village but it is a beautifully unassuming and practically tourist-free working city offering great value for money, huge variety of food options and easy escapes to the coast and/or countryside via road, boat and efficient public transport network.
