About This Listing
Very spacious and charming retreat tucked away in an idyllic, quiet and very green private estate, just a few steps and a quiet little walkway away from Trieste's buzzing city centre.
Enjoy your breakfast or aperitivo on the private balcony, or a seaview first thing in the morning from your bedroom.
The apartment is lovingly furnished the 'old style', and offers at the same time state of the art comfort, with kitchen and bathroom having been renovated recently.
The main bedroom has a double bed, and there is an additional single bed in a semi-seperated part of the living room.
Private parking and wireless internet are available.
Non smoking apartment (there is a balcony, however)
Guests are liable for any damage caused by them to the apartment and its furnishings during their stay.
No liability can be taken for guests' personal belongings.
The flat is large, with as the description says, a balcony, and when the sun shines, a really 'nice' feeling of quietness considering it's about 5/10 minutes walk from the Centre of town.
No problems getting in etc.
It's not really a criticism as the photos are fair, but the flat is quite austere perhaps not the most instantly welcoming, but if you're looking for a base for a few days, it does what you hope for.
Beautiful apartment, clean and spacious with unique furniture, paintings and books. Full of charm, it had everything we needed and was conveniently located a short walk from the bus and train station. The private walkway was lovely although uphill, so not one for the less mobile. We enjoyed relaxing on the balcony and got a good nights sleep in the comfy bed. There were even a few maps there for us to use which came in handy. Elisa showed us everything we needed to know when we arrived and Nadja was quick to reply to messages when we had any questions.
This is a great city center apartment. It is surrounded by trees and green. Very quiet and calm, a great place to come home to. Very comfortable bed, comfortable places to sit and relax, cozy place in the dining room to eat with a view on to trees and green. Looking out the bedroom window you can watch the harbor in the distance. A path to a private gate allows access, downhill, to the bus and neighborhood shops. Great small bakery, deli, fruit shop across the street from the synagogue two blocks away. Restaurants not far away. We were there for 2 weeks and hated to leave. 15 minutes to the city center close to major bus stop. If you want to swim check out the aquatic center. Good internet connection. Nadja and Elisa were welcoming and answered any questions we had. You will enjoy it.
It was a pleasant stay. The city itself really is a wonderful mix of cultures , you can go swimming and enjoy italian/adriatic life style. Also public transport is well-equipped. We recommend the trip tp Opicina.
The appartment itself is very quiet, old fashioned. Still in the center and near to the sea. A good combination!
Unfortunately Nadja couldn't meet us herself but had a friend whocame and explained everything to us. Everything worked alright, really there are no complaints at all.
The apartment was very nice and we felt like home.
We spend some evenings on the balcony and appreciate the marquis due to it was very sunny when we were in Trieste.
We found a well-stocked Lidl shop close to the apartment were we could buy our groceries.
We traveled with car so we appreciate the garage.
The only disadvantage were the stairs from the street up to the house were like exercise session but what could you expect with a town that is located on a hillside.
We can recommend this apartment if you want to visit Trieste.
Close to the city and a nice apartment.
Sehr schöne Wohnung! Wir verbrachten sehr feine Tage in Triest. Alles verlief wie am sogenannten Schnürchen. Vielen Dank an Nadja und der Haushälterin. LG Roman& Claudia
We had a great time in Trieste and the surrounding area - loved the apartment.
Quiet, roomy, lots of light and a balcony to enjoy breakfast and wine in the evening outside!
If you're traveling by car you might not always get a parking space close to the building (steep & narrow streets!).
The apt. had everything we needed, except a coffee machine.
We couldn't find a supermarket or Deli close by - other than that we would not obly recommend a stay there but would definitely come back ourselves
Nadja was very helpful, friendly and easy to get in touch with!

About the Host, Nadja
Half-Austrian and half-Italian, I have chosen to move to the beautiful city of Trieste 4 years ago. I work in tourism, love travelling myself, and very much enjoy welcoming guests from the Airbnb community to Trieste. I have met great people and had lots of fun since I have started renting out my apartments last year.
