About this listing
Stay at a beautiful 19th century Copenhagen apartment at one of the coolest streets in the neighborhood. My place has lots of light, living space and personal details. Enjoy a break from touristy city center and get a feel of the real Copenhagen.
My big 80 square meters apartment on the 3th floor has lots of light, living space and a great view to the most famous cemetery in Denmark (Assistens Kirkegård) that also works as a park for local residents.
The recent renovated apartment is situated perfect on the corner of Jagtvej and Jægersborggade. A street that during the past years have changed into one of the coolest streets at Nørrebro - with lots of great cafes, shops and restaurants.
My apartment consists of a cornered living room, a dining room with a wood burning stove and a bedroom with direct access to a big modern bathroom.
The apartment is perfect for two or three persons with an inflatable bed in the living room as an extra bed. Remember to rent a bike (200 meters from my place) – using the world’s most busy bike path a ride to the city center will only take you 10 minutes.
Please feel free to write and ask any questions. I'm happy to help. Read the reviews - they really give you the best guests impression of my place.
Upon reservation I'll send you an email with detailed information about how to find the apartment, Wifi password and guides to some of my favorite spots in Copenhagen.
The apartment is equipped with:
Wifi with 60/20mbit fiber internet
Great Bang & Olufsen sound system with Airplay connectivity
40 inch Sony TV with US Netflix, AppleTV, Playstation 3. Cable TV with German, Swedish, Norwegian and French channels.
Free street parking - but rent a bike instead:)
Interaction with Guests
I always take great pride in replying at any request very fast. You can always call or text me if you have any questions or request.
Getting from the airport to my apartment is very easy. 20 min by metro and then a 7 minute bus-trip the rest of the way. I recommend all my guest to rent bikes. It's really THE way to get around Copenhagen - one of the most bike friendly cities in the world. 1 km from my place you will find the most busiest bike route in the entire world at "Dronning Louises Bro" (Queen Louise's Bridge). 36.000 bikes crosses this bridge every single day.
Walking from my place to the city center takes around 20 minutes, and take you trough parks and past the city lakes (Søerne).
Other Things to Note
The street Jægersborggade where my place is situated is full of fantastic restaurants, caffees, very different and original shops. All in all a great local atmosphere you wont find in the very touristy areas downtown.
There are two big parks around my apartment. "Nørrebroparken" which runs along a closed down railroad and "Assistens Kirkegård" - the most famous cemetery in the country and probably the only one that also works as a beautiful park.
I don’t have many house rules but please take care of my apartment. The wooden floors are very sensitive to dirt. So no shoes indoor - especially no high heels:)
The neighbors are not that sensitive to sound so feel free to play music and be loud. Just remember to keep it down after 1am.
Living room direct opposite the most famous cemetery in Denmark that doubles as a park.
My stay at David's was fantastic. The apartment is positioned in a beautiful area and has everything in close proximity. The apartment is big and bright and well equipped. Would definitely go back and reccomend to anyone who visits Copenhagen. David was the perfect host, even from afar, and helped us out with any questions we had in real time. He welcomed us in the nicest way leaving a some drinks in the fridge.
We had a great time stying in David's appartment (5 days). His place is well located to bus and train and really cozy and stylish as shown on the pictures. Although we did not met David in person, he was very friendly and helpful in any way. He responded quickly to our mails and questions, sent us helpful tips and suggested a lot of things to do. We found everything we need to have a good stay and a lot more (he provided guidebooks, cold drinks...). We would definitly recommend staying here.
David's apartment is in a very nice neighborhood and the apartment itself is clean, bright and stylish. David is responsive and helpful.
David was very helpful in every way. Supplied details of places to visit and how to get there. The apartment is well located to bus and train. Very good restaurants nearby. Apartment very clean
David was extremely accommodating and very quick to answer our questions.
The neighbourhood was beautiful - lots of boutique coffee shops, delicious bakeries and one of the best restaurants, Manfred's is a few doors down from the apartment.
