About This Listing
Welcome to my lovely house in Humlebæk which is 35 km North of Copenhagen. I rent out two bedrooms in the house with 140 and 120 cm wide beds. You can have the whole house to yourself from the 12th of July to the 19th of July. One of the rooms is newly furnished. There is a lovely garden connected to the house with a small wood nearby where you can go for a walk and enjoy the quite atmosphere and the Danish summer. I live in the house, so I will be here unless I am away on holiday or for some other reason. Maybe week 42 in October. Look at my other add: "Home near Louisiana"
Humlebæk has a lot to offer. You can go to the famous art museum Louisiana nearby (400meter from my home).
Nearby you will also find (website hidden) which is an organic farm that delivers food boxes to aware families all over Denmark and could be compared to the English River Cottage concept from TV.
There is a wonderful fitness center 5 minutes from here. For 75kr you can have a whole day of fitness and yoga and lots of other choices. (website hidden)
The house is only 200 meters from the sea and there is free parking.
10 km to Helsingør, from where you can go to Sweden.
The house is also very close to the train station, only five minutes away by car.
One person is 350 kr. An additional person in the same room is 150kr extra. If you want two rooms each person pays 350 kr. The system cannot make that calculation. So I have to give you another price.
You bring your own linen or I can provide linen and towels for you. For fifty kroner pr. person to pay on arrival. You can make your own breakfast or I can provide coffee, tea, bread, butter, juice, cheese, and marmalade for fifty kroner pr. person to pay on arrival. This is not included in the price you pay to airbnb.
You have to bring your own linen for everything. Pillow, cover, etc. It is obligatory that you put on linen. You can also order linen from me. 50 kr per person for linen and towels. I am strict about this because I don't have a tumble dryer and cannot wash pillows etc. easily. You pay the 50kr. to me on arrival.
I really enjoyed my stay at Susan's house. She made me feel very welcome and provided lots of information about the area. The house is in a beautiful spot, just a short walk from the sea and being able to borrow Susan's bike to nip to the shops was a bonus too. If I am racing in the area again I would definitely like to visit again.
Our one-night stay in Susan's place was absolutely perfect, the house is very beautiful and charming and so is the area, 10 minutes-walk to Louisiana Museum and next to the shore. Everything was clean and spotless, and having breakfast out on the covered terrace was delightful. Susan was really kind and told us that we could enjoy the whole house since she was not going to be there for that weekend. We just shared it with Misse, a lovely cat that doesn't bother or disturb at all. We totally recommend this place for a nice stay in the area.
Susan was a great hostess. Helped with all of my inquiries and also very easy to talk with. She made me feel welcomed and at home. I was given easy directions to her house and also was lucky enough to visit the Louisiana museum of modern art.
Very clean room and comfortable bed, with added attention to details.
I was also lucky to have the use of her mountain bike.
Very pleasant stay: room and bathroom were fine and you could also use the living room. The breakfast was excellent and very rich.
Susan is a smooth hostess you cordially welcomes and gives a lot of practical information about what you can do in the area.
