We offer a bedroom in our house.
The house is detached and arranged on three floors: the room is on the third floor and there are two bathrooms: one service on the ground floor and another, with the shower, in the basement (Doors with internal closure).
Bathrooms, Kitchen and other areas of the house are shared. We are not parents and the house is not suitable for children.
We live in Povegliano, in the province of Treviso, which is 50 km from Venice.
To reach Venice you must take a bus that takes 25 min to reach Treviso. Here, you go from the bus station to the train station (200mt). The train from Treviso to Venice takes 35 min.
For the journey it takes in total approximately from 1:10 h to 1:20 h.
A Povegliano bus service, in winter, is not active on Sunday. And it's our pleasure, to offer alternative solutions on a free.
From Treviso's Train Station you can reach Venice or Padua, Vicenza, Conegliano, Castelfranco e Montebeluna. Also, you can reach Verona, but, with a bit of organization !.
We try, always, to help guests. We ask you to follow our tips to have any transport problem, because Povegliano IS NOT London, New York or Los Angeles. Unless least aspire to be so Venice or Treviso.
Italy is a Latin country which must be taken as it is, ask us how it works and we will be happy to help.
The costs of transport are as follows:
Buses between POVEGLIANO and TREVISO € 2,80 per person and each way (a / r € 5.60).
Train between Treviso and Venice and € 3.30 per person each way. (a / r € 6.60).
This is the reason why the cost House is less !!!!!!
Agreeing, we offer guests the opportunity to visit: Maser, Asolo and Possagno. In addition, the province offers very interesting cities as: Conegliano, Oderzo, Vittorio Veneto, Feltre and wanting Cortina.
March and April are lukewarm, but in recent years it rains a lot, in May and June, we are engaged in the collection of cherries. July and August are the hottest months, while September and October are proving excellent for the visit. November opens the door to winter, December and January have Christmas, but especially in February, bringing the carnival.
The triveneto of Italy is the gateway to Eastern Europe. 800 years of history of a nation glorious and respected: THE REPUBLIC OF VENICE.
The old Republic reborn in the memories of the people and in the Fields of his story that starts from Venice but which develops in the hinterland.
See you soon, Katia & Antonio

Grazie Katia e Antonio
Antonio was a very kind person, he pick us up in the metro station at 23h and he gave us a map of the city and indications about the transportation. Also he suggested us to visit Treviso that is the town close to his house and it was amazing, we loved that place. The only thing is that Antonio's house is a little bit far of Venice and you need more time and money to go there, but in general it was a great experience in Antonio's place, he shared some spaghettis with us and the house is really warm and clean. Thank you Antonio and hope to see you soon.
Katia and Antonio are good hosts. The house is clean and comfortable. It is far from town and can be difficult to reach.
Katia & Antonio are wonderful. I got sick during our stay with them and they offered medication, turned on the heaters early for us. We also were there during a holiday when everything was closed so Katia made us pasta and offered us homemade apple cake. The only problem we have with the listing is the walls are really thin and we had trouble sleeping because of the sounds of children crying at night and the pigeons cooing sounds like it's in the room with you in the morning. It's also farther out than it seems, but for the price that was okay with us.
Staying with Antonio and Katia was fantastic! My wife and I have been traveling Italy for 3 months, and their home was our favorite.
We arrived to the Treviso train station and Antonio came to pick us up. Our train was delayed for 3 hours, but Antonio still picked us up in their car. Their house is gorgeous and they were very generous with allowing us to use their kitchen and materials.
We got to see Povegliano, Treviso, and Venice while there, and they were helpful in giving us directions, bus schedule, and maps of the surrounding area. Their house is ~45 minutes from Venice, but I loved staying a little removed from the tourist areas. Treviso has a great outdoor market, and Povegliano has a couple pizza places and a small supermarket.
I definitely recommend staying with Antonio and Katia if you're in the area, you won't regret it.
