Our location in Kerobokan gives easy access to the tourist areas of Seminyak (15 minutes), Canggu (15 minutes), Denpasar (15 minutes), Ubud (45 minutes) and Sanur (30 minutes) by car/motorbike. So an ideal home base to explore in all directions. Local public transport is non existent so we can help you organise taxi's , motorbikes and car hire with or without a driver for all your transport needs.

It is in a Balinese area with many great small local restaurants nearby. Right next door is a great restaurant which makes delicious BBQ chicken or fish, fried rice and fried noodles all Bali style of course.
I like to share my unique home and knowledge of local balinese culture and attractions with open hearted souls looking for an alternative to the usual tourist experience.

  • The energy here at Dragon Pyramid is amazing! I felt instantly at home when I saw Sally. We had a good time chatting the 3 days when I'm there and her Balinese husband, Boy, taught me how to cook Balinese dishes on my first night. We had a lot of fun at night playing card games, playing brain tests together with their Houseman Putu. Sally had arranged for Putu to bring me around her area to get souvenirs before flying home. They have 2 house cats, 2 dogs - Leia and Baby Boy, Magik the monkey and 2 super cute puppies. The room is big and spacious, I love everything about the house! The only hindsight is that it is hard to walk out to get a cab but Sally will be more than willing to arrange transport for you. I'll definitely be back soon. Thank you Sally, Boy and Putu!

  • Staying with Sally and Boy it was great experience. Nice and lovely place to have your holidays or short break. Really friendly and helpfull people. You feel their more like at home than in the guesthouse. Loved it. It sad that we were on the budget and had to save our money, but really wanted to try lots of things what they offer. Surfing or cooking class or tour around Bali...but we will try next time. Thank you for everything guys..See you in London right?;)

  • Staying with Sally was great. For us, ideally far from the touristic craziness but close enough to get everywhere by taxi or scooter. Walking distance local markets, nice food and massage where people don't try to rip you off. Sally gave us excellent information and we met nice people at the house. The house was clean and tidy although the kitchen could get a bit messy when some of her family members where there. I would like the shower to have a stronger flow of water, but after a month in Indonesia my experience with the showers was pretty much the same. And we also had some scary moments with the scooter dying in the middle of the traffic, but we survived :) We met Boi and that was great. He is a lovely man with a beautiful heart. We had a cooking class scheduled with him, but unfortunately it didn't happen, we'll have to go back there another time. I completely recommend staying with Sally if you want a more local/real balinese experience. And I have the feeling that there was much more to experience, specially with Boi being around.

  • We were very very happy and Sally's place was AMAZING!!
The room was very romantic. We booked the Pyramid room for our first two nights in Bali, Sally arranged a driver for us to pick us up at the airport. The atmosphere was very nice and we were directly in the Bali vibe. Sally was very helpfully and friendly! She (email hidden)!! She made us feel like at home. even after we left she helpt us with finding a driver and arranging things for us.
You definitely have to go here and I will recommend this place to all of my friends!
We will come back for sure!

  • Staying at the Dragon Pyramid allowed me to see a different side of Bali - it added a lot of character and good memories to my trip. Being in the heart of Kerobokan, you get to see first hand that Bali is a lot more than just pretty resorts and sandy beaches.

Sally (email hidden) - contactable, had great recommendations on what to do (yes eat the Nasi Campur round the corner and don't miss out on rafting!), and her selfless nature was reflected through rescued pets and hearty genuine conversations with neighbours and fellow guests. She's built a really great community.

If you want luxury and plush comfort, this place will not be for you. Being close to nature means a fair share of fresh air and bugs, but also a really unique and friendly environment to live in. Come with an open mind and you'll be rewarded :)

  • Sally was great. She arranged for driver to pick us up from airport when we landed and took us to her place so no hassle at the airport finding someone and trying to explain where we needed to go. Sally then gave us advice on how to get around and where to go - we didn't book anything prior. Sally put us on to a great driver who is taking us into local villages and meeting locals etc. just what we wanted. I would recommend stay at Sally's.

  • We spent some wonderful moments at Sallys enchanted place in Bali and were extremely happy having made that choice.
Not only is (email hidden) but her house is a hidden gem.
Her warmhearted advise and knowledge about Bali and Lombok allowed us to spend a wonderful vacation!

  • Our stay in the Dragon Room was magnificent! Also, I might add, it is an excellent diving platform into Bali. The room itself is simply furnished and holds an amazing atmosphere; extremely comfortable to sleep in, with a good little place to chill out just below on ground level. We quickly formed a good crew with the other boarders, and had a couple of entertaining nights recounting stories and getting charged to go on further missions during the sunny days. Sally herself is what really makes the place - knows the area like the back of her hand (she's a local, after all!) and more importantly, she encouraged us to go out and experience Bali. Full of recommendations for everything from local grocery shopping to getting a good massage, she never seemed stumped for an answer. If it hadn't been for Sally's encouragement, I would never have gotten on a scooter - and believe me, there is no better way to travel in Bali. Looking back now, it was the initial stay at the Dragon Room that gave us the impetus for our adventures through Bali. I highly recommend this place to any travellers, especially those coming to Bali for the first time. Thanks again, Sally.

P.S. - I might add, the Dragon Room seems like it is closer to Denpasar, although the address is technically Kuta.

Aww... Love. It is true the best way to explore Bali is on a Scooter! I love hearing the stories of my guests adventures and also enjoy the way the (email hidden) look after each other and share stories and information.
