Very friendly hosts and a gorgeous home. Thank you!
Lovely welcoming home, lovely family, great conversations. Clean, neat large room and bathroom and even a shelf of their refrigerator was cleared for me.
Elizabeth took me to Ybor City, a wonderful vintage area of old Tampa, (only 1 mile away), on a tour of the city and to an art festival. I was made to feel special and it worked!
I felt at home. I truly believe that you will too.
a very kind and helping family with a beautiful bed- and bathroom ready for your use. I really enjoyed my stay at their home!
Elisabeth and her family were very welcoming and helpful. The room has a good size and is comfortable. The house is in a nice residential area and downtown is reachable by bike in 10 minutes.
Thanks again for the nice stay.
Elisabeths place was a very comfortable place to stay for us in Tampa. The house was very clean and we could use the kitchen for our needs. The private room and the bathroom fully met our expectations (including the Winney Pooh sheets ;-))
The parking space in front of the house was very helpful. Additionally, Elizabeth recommended us to visit the great Zoo in Tampa instead of Busch Gardens (we don't like roller coasters so much) which was a great tip.
The neighborhood was very quite. So altogether we absolutely recommend this place.
Jim and Elisabeth were great hosts. They were very accommodating and pleasant. Our stay was brief (about two or three days) and although we didn't get a chance to have any of their chickens' eggs (!!!) we really wanted some. Actually we did have some of the deviled eggs and they were delicious.
The room is very spacious and the bathroom is amazing. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and it's very close to historic Ybor. Had a great time!
Jim and his son Peter (Elisabeth was unfortunately not here at this time) are lovely people. They were full of good advice, took care of us and were really helpful. We also enjoyed chatting with them on many subjects. We truly felt at home. This one was very comfy and nice (except mosquitoes !!). The neighborhood is fine, full of beautiful houses. Groceries and pharmacy are close and we can reach easily on foot the historic (and lively) quarter.
We truly recomend these hosts for your stay in Tampa !
it was a pleasure to meeting and living elisabeth and her familiy. the house is really cute, espacially the bathroom!
i enjoyed staying in her house and cycling with the bike!
Elisabeth & her husband are wonderful, dear people. They are very accommodating & laid back. This was my first airbnb experience in the states & I was more than satisfied. I loved our late night discussion learning more about each other. Even though I was only going to be there less than 12 hours they still cared to stay up and talk & befriend me. Their house is clean & charming in it's 1920's feel. I would recommend anyone needing a place to stay in Tampa stay here! Great deal for the price!
I had such a wonderful stay with Elisabeth, Jim and Pieter! They really made me feel like a part of the family, while at the same time, allowing me the freedom to spend my time as I wished without feeling like a burden. We had some great chats and I really enjoyed getting to know them all. It would've been nice have had more free time while I was there to do more activities with them! Unfortunately, I was busy with work and other activities much of the time, although we were able to visit their neighborhood community center and go to a music festival together one day, which was a great time. And Elisabeth even joined me in a visit with my Grandma and a friend of mine, which was so nice!
The room and house are beautiful – I especially love the bathroom! And it was such an added convenience to be able to use the bicycle to get around. The location is convenient, as it's a short bike ride to downtown or Ybor city, and there's a little park just a block away! The only tiny technical issue is that the key to the front door is really difficult to use, but I'm sure that will get fixed, among the other improvements they're constantly making to the house.
Overall, it was great visit and I'll be looking forward to visiting these lovely people again next time I'm in Tampa!
