The treehouse is an excellent space for a back-to-nature stay in town. Jessica is a wonderful host, and she keep the spirit of BnB alive by providing breakfast food as a part of the stay (including some delicious items from her personal garden). Light rail is just 15 minutes walk…

The tree house was great and very clean. It looks like there was a lot of effort out in to it. It doesn't have ANY walls so it's pretty much glorified camping, but in someone's back yard. If there happened to be a bathroom and kitchen area to use that wasn't in the main house the…

Response from Jessica:
I think I should post my review of these girls here. I have never had an experience with guests like this and have never had occasion to make a negative review. I pride myself in being most welcoming and accommodating to a wide variety of guests in my home. "These girls are quite young and rather immature. They were drinking heavily in the treehouse which made me a bit nervous esp as I found a couple things from the treehouse (including the top of the wood fabric inlaid antique commode) tossed on to the ground below the treehouse (a 10 ft drop). They got home very late each night and woke up quite late, setting up shop from 11-4ish each day in the thoroughfare on the floor of the living room in a spot which is basically a hallway in a quite small home (there are several other large community space options available) using the bathroom nonstop that whole time to groom. I have struggled with writing this review because while they didn't break 'rules' per se, they just didn't seem to have much common sense, respect, and judgement or awareness of being in someones home. I have never had any guest experience quite like this. They are sweet people, just young I believe so they maybe don't quite get the ethos of Airbnb yet and the idea that you are in someone's home and shared space." After reading their review I should add that I asked them what time they were planning on leaving and they said 10am. I said that is great as I was heading out on a weeks vacation and I could get the going sheets in the laundry etc. What I didn't say is that I wanted to make sure I personally saw them off out the door to make sure things were okay before I left town because of how their stay went. My room mate was actually scheduled to do the clean later that day and I normally simply ask guests to leave the key and lock it from inside on the way out if their morning schedule doesn't sync with mine. In this case I didn't feel comfortable with that plan. Also I had a planned family birthday party from 4-8 in my small home that I had mentioned to them on saturday evening... they had told me they were coming to go to Bumbershoot festival all weekend (and generally most guests are gone out exploring during that afternoon time). As I mentioned above they set up shop in the middle of the floor in the thoroughfare of my small home inside so they could have proximity to the bathroom I believe for many hours of grooming. I was trying to clean and get ready for the party, walking around them not saying anything. 5 minutes before 4pm and my family all descended they finally moved back to the treehouse where they continued loudly drinking before leaving for the festival. I did not "keep asking them to leave" as is stated above. I do hope that guests considering a stay in the treehouse take the time to read the variety of reviews on my page. I don't think one other guest mentioned not feeling welcomed in my home. Thanks much and happy airbnbing!

This was such a unique experience. I picked out this place as a surprise to my friend because I knew he would be excited to spend a few night in the outdoors. For us- the weather was perfect! A huge concern was being cold or if it rained, but with the blankets provided were plent…
