Our stay in Nadia's apartment was a lovely experience. We didn't get the opportunity to meet her in person but there were easy instructions to be found in a manual left in the apartment. The place was clean and bright and we loved that there was a more personal interior than most other places. The plants by the windows were a nice addition. The only thing that caused a little trouble, which was not the hostesses fault whatsoever, was getting from Stansted airport to the apartment. We landed really late and found out there were no trains running that late. The last one was at 12:30AM. So make sure to look that up before you arrive! Otherwise a lovely experience!
The flat is exactly as described and very easy to get to via the tube - Seven Sisters station is a 7 minute walk away :)
There is everything you need for a comfortable stay and I had a great time. Thanks so much, Nadia!
My husband and I have stayed in the studio apartment for 2 weeks. The apartment looks exactly as the pictures shown. It contains all what we need. Though the wall is not very good in sound proofing, we didn't encounter any noise issue. It has a Tesco superstore around and the area is very communal to the city centre. Nadia was easy to reach and always respond to my enquiries promptly. Overall, our stay is an enjoyable one.
Though some commented that the area is rough, we feel safe even at night (we back at 11pm once). Indeed we found the neighbours quite friendly. There are lots of local shops selling low-price stuff as well.
I had a wonderful experience staying at Nadia's place. Her place was very cozy, with a lot of natural light and tall ceilings. I think her apartment is the only one in the building that has a balcony, that was to sit out on a sunny morning. Despite being located in Seven Sisters it was really quick and easy to get into the city center, Soho and even to and from Heathrow. There are plenty of small markets in the neighborhood that are convenient to buy groceries. Lastly Nadia was a terrific host. Unfortunately I did not have opportunity to meet her in person, but she was always checking in and was very responsive.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nadia's flat! It is located in Tottenham which is in Zone 3 so be sure and be aware of that when booking your Oyster or TravelCard! The flat was exactly as pictured- we could not have asked for a better experience. It is about a seven or eight block walk from the Seven Sisters tube station, so be aware of that if you are coming with a lot of luggage. If it is raining then it would be well worth it to take a cab. No reflection on Nadia, but there are not street signs so it is a little difficult to figure out what street to go down. From exit one, turn LEFT down the street directly in front of you (the same street as the coffee shop on the corner) and then right on Lawrence Rd. The place is on your right a little way down.
The place to be :) paradise
