Interaction with Guests
We are happy to answer any questions and give you the real Brooklyn experience; though, we do have an office in the same building and many guests feel they have the whole apartment to themselves.
Just across the East River from Manhattan’s bright lights is Williamsburg, one of Brooklyn's most popular and exciting neighborhoods. You can explore the lively arts, music, and boutique scene here, chill in numerous cafes, dine in some very good restaurants — and soak up the creative energy and vibe of young artists and models.
Interestingly, the hip Williamsburg scene plays out against a backdrop of old industrial buildings, modest attached homes (though punctuated by increasing numbers of expensive waterfront high rises). All of this is bordered by a long-standing residential community of Hasidim to the south and a distinctive Polish area to the north. Williamsburg is a mish-mash of cultures and vistas.
A mecca for creative energy for over a decade…If there's one neighborhood that's indicative of the "new Brooklyn," it's Williamsburg. Come take a look!
Stroll around and take in Williamsburg Street Art or enjoy easy access to Manhattan with the Bedford L Subway train. Street Parking found outside or there is a Paid Parking Garage in the building next door.

We had a really great time staying with Miko and Lauren. We didn't see them much as they kept to themselves, but the apartment was always clean, tidy, and quiet. The bed was super comfortable, two singles put together so we loved having all the space we are use to at home! We were sharing the apartment with the hosts and also two others who booked their second room, but there were never problems with space, bathrooms, or noise. Mike was flexible with the check-in and we were super grateful he agreed to let us come in an hour early.
The apartment is quite well located in Williamsburg, about a 5-minute walk from the L-train and a 10-min walk from the G. Lots of things to do in the neighbourhood in terms of eating, drinking, and shopping, but also easy enough to get into Manhattan.
Thanks for the great stay!
Miko and Lauren were very friendly. Their apartment was great and most people will enjoy their hospitaliy and unusual eclectuc5 decor. On a hot sunny day the apartment was boiling. Like really hot from the sun on the roof. Not helped by the need to go up 5 flights of stairs to get to the top. Miko didn't manage to solve this problem despite my comments /complaints. He says he had aircon but he didn't get it up and running for me. But if summer heat is not a major problem 4 you i think most folks will be real happy here.
When we arrived Miko was standing there on the sidewalk. It would seem like he was waiting for us but in reality he was coming up from his office located on the first floor and was heading up to the apartment. So off we went! He made us feel at home and we could use the entire apartment and balcony. He gave us a few tips of where to start out in the neighborhood and we discovered Williamsburg was an amazing place. We spent more time there then originally planned because it was so amazing. The food, cafe's, shopping and nightlife were really great. The ferry over to Manhattan only took a few minutes and there were Uber taxis' around every corner as well as the subway only 5 minutes away. It was actually really relaxing to come 'home' to Williamsburg after the hustle and bustle of touring around all the sites. The people were really nice, the air was clean and Miko was very helpful. We plan to come back again to see and experience more! Ginger & Mike
Staying in this place was truly great. The hosts are friendly, the place is clean and cosy, and that bed is miraculous.
This place is charming and close to everything. It's very clean. Their vintage style makes the place closer to an old school Brooklyn flat and it's a welcome reprieve from the popup lofts and overly soulless newer buildings. They work evenings so the place is very private and you'll be able to work at the desk in the room if you need to. Also, there's a small sofa in the room with another little table so this room is a bit more like a mini studio than you'd expect, which is nice. The pick of seamless food options around here is also impressive.
Perfect location, massive room, probably the most comfortable bed in the world and very friendly hosts - dream come true indeed!
