We had a great time in Florence and though Christina couldn't welcome us on the first day she made sure we were satisfied. Great location (next to the four seaons), wonderful ceilings and clean. Highly recommended. Thanks!
This was our first AirBnB stay, and we absolutely loved it. Cristina met us at the apartment and was very helpful in providing information about the area, and answering any questions we had. And she left us with a bottle of wine and other goodies to start off our week.
The apartment is outstanding. It is very well decorated, and the frescos are fantastic. We walked to the apartment from the train station on our arrival to Florence, left the apartment by foot each morning to explore the city, and returned to the train station on foot when we left the city. We never once hopped in a taxi, as the main part of Florence is small enough and the apartment close enough to it all. But we like to walk.
We plan on returning to stay at this apartment if possible, as well as checking out Cristina's other apartment in the country.
We do enjoy our three nights stay at the lovely apartment. Cristina's daughter Giorgia welcomed us and gave us very detailed introduction about the apartment.
The apartment looks the same as the photos show - very beautiful, clean, and comfortable. We will definitely recommend it to our friends. Thanks Cristina and Giorgia.
Listing was accurate. Met at the door by beautiful Georgia (daughter of Cristina) who explained everything well. Wonderful painted ceilings. 10 mins walk from the Duomo, 20 from the station. Right next door to the gorgeous Four Seasons Hotel. Living room comfortable, though the soft lighting made reading hard, so we moved a few lamps around. Kitchen and bathroom very small but adequate. Washing machine very useful. Could do with some tea towels and a better set of carving knives in the kitchen. Bedroom nice, with an ensuite toilet and bidet. Back room leading to small patio was not used during our winter stay - could be a summer extra bedroom with a bit of work. All supplies were good. We enjoyed the cereal, milk, bread and jam provided for our first morning, but bought most other supplies thereafter.
If I could live here I would! The apartment with it's fresco and wood beamed ceilings totally emerged us in a real florentine experience. A full size two bathroom apartment, spotlessly clean with beautiful crisp linens and fluffy pillows. And a day trip to the hosts horse estate in Tuscany enriched our total experience. Hope to return in the near future !!
Great apartment, great location!
We didn't really appreciate when we selected the apartment just how close we would be to everything we needed. I have mobility issues and it was perfect. We walked everywhere because it was all so close.
The heating was a huge bonus, too. Visiting in November we thought it would be chilly in an older building, but we were wrong. Coming home after a day of wintery sight-seeing, we were greeted with warmth and cosiness.
The apartment has a small, but perfectly equipped kitchen, we cooked a few times and had everything we needed. The breakfast items and welcome pack were very welcome.
It's such a pretty apartment. The ceilings alone are worth the stay! Beautiful.
Florence felt very safe, the apartment has great security. We were greeted by Cristina's charming daughter who gave us great advice and offered to help at any point during our stay. But everything was so easy, we didn't need to contact her again.
If you fly in to Pisa, take the direct bus to Florence for around €7. The apartment is an easy walk (20 minutes) from the bus station but with heavy bags a taxi was worth paying for.
We loved everything about Florence, the apartment (and it's ceilings) made it feel even more special. We're already desperate to return.
Thanks for your hospitality.
We really loved our stay. Giorgia was was quick to reply any questions we had by email. They had a helpful list of tips, restaurants and maps available for us.
The apartment was clean and spacious and so tastefully decorated.
Good selection of food for breakfast and generous servings!
There is also a nice little local market just down the road on weekends! Lots of local produce, craft and food.
We would recommend this to anyone thinking of staying in Florence.

Hello, my name is Cristina Libardi and I am 53 years old.
Actually it will be my daughter Giorgia often welcoming you in our apartament in Florence. She studies economy at university and she speaks english quite fluently and likes welcoming people in our city.
I am a horse riding instructor and, with my husband, I have been running for 25 years a horse riding centre with a fantastic B & B in the Chianti area (45 minutes from the centre of Florence) and I am still doing this with great pleasure. Besides this activity I just opened a B&B in the Centre of Florence in a charming apartment owning to our family.
By my style of life you can imagine what my passions are: animals, nature, art but also photography, music, and many others.
My studies included ancient languages (old Geek and Latin) and modern languages.
I can speak fluently both English and French.
I enjoy meeting people from all over the world and have a quite a good experience as I have been doing this in the last 25 years!
I hope to meet nice people that will be able to appreciate the fantastic opportunity of our apartment in Florence.
