If you are looking for a clean, cozy cabin, this is for you. David, the host, was very hospitable - left lots of info about the surrounding area, and a few snacks upon check in! Next time we are in Kenai, this will be our first choice for a place to stay.

David was a wonderful host. He greeted us when we arrived and discussed everything at that time. The cabin is in a beautiful location, close to the water, and a short drive from downtown Kenai. The kitchen had everything needed for food prep and meals. Outdoor BBQ available with chairs. Would definitely stay there again.

What a great Airbnb, cozy and in a great location. I stayed for 2.5 weeks and it was an ideal home away from home. David provided amenities needed for daily life, had great communication and was hospitable. I highly recommend this Airbnb.

We arrived to David and Kristan's cabin and found it to be more spacious that the photos depicted. It was very nicely appointed and our hosts left fresh cookies and muffins for our arrival. They also provided lovely cold beverages and coffee. The pantry was well stocked with essentials if one cared to bbq or bake and there were extra toiletries in the bathroom cabinet. The cabin was very private and we really enjoyed our stay. It should be noted that the stair leading to the loft is quite narrow and took a little getting used to. It was sturdy and the hand holds were well placed. If one needs to get up during the night--this could pose a problem.

We are a professonal Alaskan family with two kids, ages 12 and 17. We've enjoyed staying with airbnb hosts since 2013 in Italy, Iceland, Switzerland, New Zealand, and throughout the USA. We enjoy meeting domestic and international travelers at our AirBnB cabin in Alaska now that we are no longer hosting international au pairs. We don't have a TV in our home, don't smoke, love to read and travel and hike and experience things a little off the beaten track. Our most recent trip was to Italy for a wedding and Iceland to hike. On our bucket list: Antarctica.
