The apartment is located very centrally in the 9th district in a typical old Viennese building. You ll find a lot of young people living in our neighborhood, since its core location to the main university and university campus, as well as most faculties. It ll only takes you 5-10 min to go to the main city center or 15 min to one of the major shopping streets in Vienna( Mariahilferstrasse). The "AKH" General Hospital is in 5min walking distance. Puplic transport is only a few steps away (underground, tram and bus) but you could also walk down town by foot if you want . It normally takes me 10 min. Everything you could possibly need for your daily life, is really just around the corner. Down the road you ll find 3 supermarkets, 2 pharmacys, 2 tabaco stores and so on. The location is more than convient for any type of travel really.
The apartment itself has very high ceilings and parquet floor, which is typical for apartments in old buildings here. The living room is very spacious and bright, equiped with a super cosy sofa, excellent to stretch your legs after a long day of sight seeing. The bedroom is facing the courtyard so its nice to sleep there cuz it ll be fairly quiet. There is a double bed with a confy mattrass, as well as a big closet that will easily fit all your clothes. Bathroom (with hair dryer) and a fully equiped kittchen. Internet is of course provided, as well as two guide books of Vienna that can be used during your stay. Steph is a great host, warm and respectful, giving us good tips to discover Vienna. Her flat is beautiful.
We had a wonderful timers vienna and at steph's lovely apartment. Of all our air bnb stays around Europe, this was by far the best. Steph greeted us with a warm welcome, and gave us lots of suggestions on things to do and places to visit in vienna. She clearly knows the city as only a local would. She provided us with lots of maps, travel guides and her own excellent personal notes on where to eat, drink and visit. She also asked us what we wanted to see and even went as far as to find out times and details of music performances for us to see. The apartment is very spacious, in a beautiful old apartment building that feels like part of vienna's history. However, she has the apartment stocked with all the modern needs you could want for, fast wifi, good heating and a very, very well stocked and equipped kitchen. The bed was comfortable too! The location is only a 2 minute walk from trams or trains into the city, so it's only a short ride from the city centre on the tram. There's a supermarket down the road, and plenty places to eat and drink locally. We highly recommend staying here I'm lovely vienna.
Problemlose Abwicklung. Vielen Dank....
We had incredibly nice experience with Steph's flat. First of all the flat is in a very nice location, close to the main tram lines and U-Bahn stops. Alser Strasse was also very nice to walk through. We had arrived so so late on the New Year's eve and Steph waited for us in the apartment with so many nice preparations. She provided us wine to celebrate the new year and some food for the breakfast which was life-saving because no shops or markets were open and we were not aware of that. The apartment is perfect for two and ok for three people with a very well equipped kitchen where you can find literally anything (including spices and so on) to cook your own food. Although the bathroom is small, it was comfortable and warm with uninterrupted hot water. There was also a table in front of the apartment looking at the backyard where you can sit and smoke (we don't smoke anyway). Steph also allowed us to leave late since our flight was in the evening for which we are grateful so that we could visit the Sigmund Freud Museum on the day we left Vienna and yes, the museum is at a walkable distance for the flat. She was very welcoming in every way providing us food and recommendations and guides ans so on and we really felt home and familiar with everything. She is the perfect host I can recommend to anyone.
I'm from Vienna so I know everyting the city can offer and I am a true peoples persons. I enjoy it meeting people from different countries and cultures therefore I love beeing an AirBnB host. In my free time, I like doing outdoor activities, dancing, reading or occasionally just practicing the challenging art of doing nothing. I absolutly love traveling myself and I have been to many places, but sometimes there is nothing like coming home. Even its just for a short while, please make yourself at home. "Mi casa es su casa!" Enjoy your stay and I am looking forward to meeting you very soon!
