We enjoyed staying at Keren's place.
It is comfortable and relative to other apartments in Manhattan there is a lot of space for eating and lounging.
Keren and her husband were excellent hosts. They were both very responsive and made an effort to help make or stay more enjoyable (e.g. Coming within hours to install two A/C units when requested).
Location is excellent - incredible food options nearby, close to Central Park, Times Square, Rockefeller, and general shopping areas. The street / apartment itself are very quiet though.
Our main issue was that although the apartment was reasonably clean, there was dog hair everywhere - a lot of dog hair, both on the floor and on both sofas. We actually put sheets over the sofas as we couldn't bring ourselves to sit on all the hair.
The kitchen is quite small and as a result is quite cluttered - it's manageable, but would be frustrating if we cooked more often.
The bathroom is also small and very dated. It's fine, but could use a little TLC.
Given the cost of staying here, I think the apartment could use a little TLC. We booked very late so we're limited. All in all, we were happy with our stay, but think if we booked earlier we could get better value for money.
