You can expect a very simple place, with an exceptional location, which offers the basics for a comfortable stay. As I travel often, the place is sometimes available. It's very quiet and resting, with a beautiful canal view.
Smoking, bringing other guests or making noise after 22h is NOT allowed.
A lovely experience in Ralph's apparently, great locations as well as easy access to trams and busses. Ralph was not there but we met his friend Friedmar who was lovely and told us everything we needed to know. The flat was clean and had everything you needed for a short/long stay. Highly recommend!
My two friends and I had a great time staying in Ralph's flat. The location is not far from the centre and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes near by. The only downside was that the toilet seat wasn't attached to the toilet.
Ralph was an awesome host and the studio was absolutely perfect for us. About a 15 minute walk into the city centre and in a really nice part of town, there were plenty of shops and pubs around as well. Had problems with the wifi at first but one message to Ralph and he was quick to fix it. Would definitely recommend staying here!
Ralph and Kim were quick to reply to all emails. Kim was super flexible with the delay in our arrival and greeted us at the bus stop near the apartment. The apartment is located along a nice canal, a little bit away from the busy downtown. The apartment could use a deep clean. There were cobwebs along all walls and dust on all countertops. The bathroom had a serious mildew issue. Overall, we had a pleasant stay in Amsterdam.
Our booking was canceled suddenly and thank you, Ralph, for being ready to host us in such short time. We really enjoyed your place. The location is very nice, no people, water space is nearby and supermarket was not far way, just cross the street under the bridge.
My two friends and I had a wonderful stay in Ralph's apartment! We did not meet Ralph personally but Kim was very kind, punctual, and attentive to our needs. The place itself was nice and clean as well. The location was also good- well connected via trams and walking distance of the train station. At times it felt a little less central than what we wanted but it was still a very nice location nonetheless. I loved the view of the canal from the window!
Overall it was a great stay and we recommend!
The apartment is in a great location and is quite basic but has everything you need. Both RAlph and his friend Sarah were very helpful and gave us some good local knowledge. The gas burner didn't work so Sarah bought us a new electric cooktop which was good. Internet is quite slow which is frustrating and neighbours upstairs were very noisy when trying to sleep but I am told all houses in Amsterdam have poor sound proofing. Near buses and trams and across the road from a canal- very easy to walk into main town.
