Nestled into the Wolds of North Lincolnshire in the village of Somerby, Home Farm House is a comfortable farmhouse. We have 1 double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a sitting room for your use with television and wireless connection.
Breakfast is delicious with our own eggs, bread, preserves and locally grown produce. We are happy to provide an evening meal, always seasonal and making use of what's available in the kitchen garden and orchard.
Lincoln, Beverley, Sheffield, Hull, Leeds and York are all about an hour or less drive. We are close to the market town of Brigg, 8 minutes from Barnetby Railway Station and 10 minutes from Humberside Airport.

Interaction with Guests
Home Farm House is a family home.
The wide open countryside
This is a non-smoking house, but lots of lovely places outside to sit and contemplate and smoke.
This is a continuance of my stay. Please see my other review regarding this Home. Best regards
Sorry the review was delayed. Victoria was a wonderful host with a lovely B&B. The farm house was beautiful as was the surrounding property. I even had the delight of meeting their children (grown) and the two pups. I had dinner with Victoria and Sean most nights which was terrific. Getting home grown food that was prepared by a wonderful chef was an unexpected surprise indeed. I highly recommend the Farm House and would love to go back if my work brought me to the area again. The property is great and the hosts are in a league of their own.
As well as the Bed and Breakfast I run workshops here under the title of Learning the Good Life. These have evolved slowly and are the meshing of my past experience in the food and training worlds and my country life here in the rural idyll of Lincolnshire. I arrived here 11 years ago after marrying my husband. I came from Sydney and running cafes there to setting up a school to train baristas in London. As years pass, my interest in living sustainably has become paramount and the programme of courses I run reflects this. The workshops embrace the kitchen, the garden, living sustainably, traditional rural and domestic crafts and skills, the arts and crafts, all things I am passionate about.
