The apartment was clean, and the internet was working well! The bathroom floor has a heater and that was amazing! Pietro's friend that received us was very friendly and gave us a lot of tips! And Pietro was very nice and help us when we needed!
We had a great stay in Pietro's apartment. It was in a quiet back street away from all of the crowds which was lovely. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and has good wi fi. It is also very close to a water-boat station for ease in getting there from the train station.
Pietro's apartment was small but modern and very clean. The bathroom had under floor heating which was nice. Communicating with Pietro was easy enough - there was actually someone in the building who gave us the keys. All apartments in the building seem to be AirBnB apartments (or vacation rentals), we heard some fellow vacationers but weren't really bothered. I would come again - if anything is to be criticized then maybe the lack of character of the interior design (which is modern/ functional).
Very clean apartment, with good bathroom and comfortable bed.
A compact and basic apartment. Fine for those travellers who want to spend most of their time seeing the sights and only require somewhere to sleep for the night and shower. This apartment would not suit those who desire creature comforts. The only chairs to sit on are hard plastic . Bed was comfortable and the location very quiet. The television volume was set so low you could only hear if you sat centimetres away from the screen also no dishcloth supplied to clean the dishes or wipe down bench top. Overall clean but basic.
We loved our stay in Santa Ternita. The apartment was just as described and in a perfect location to get off the typical tourist paths while still being close enough for easy access to everything. Checkin was fast and comprehensive. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels for the two of us. Wifi was easy and worked well. Great little spot near the Celestia water bus stop. Perfect stay!
Clean, well situated for visiting the Biennale. We spent two weeks here and that I would't recommend to anybody. The apartment is too small for that and had for instance no comfortable chairs to sit in and read, neither is there a balcony e.g. to have a morning coffee or a glass of wine at the end of the day. It's 'just' a hotel room with a kitchenette and no breakfast is served. Bed - yes, breakfast - no. You should realize this when you book. Modern, but no special atmosphere. I had expected more from an architect.
The place was clean and as in the pictures. Internet worked perfectly and the communication with Pietro was good. He was always very responsive to my emails. The only down side for me was the location which wasn't too bad but not ideal. It is a little far from the Alilaguna stop to walk with luggage (and I was travelling just with a carry on and a backpack) after a long flight and there are few stairs. Vaporetto stop is close but it is not one of the major lines so timetable is limited and you need to connect if you want to get to the Grand Canal. It is goog though to get to the Train Station. Apartment is walking distance from San Marco in terms of miles/km but since Venice is not easy to navigate I would have preferred to stay closer to the landmarks as it was hard to find my way out/back to the apartment. I am a runner so I really don't mind walking but I felt it was far. I was travelling alone and I felt nervous during the night as the streets going back to the apartment were really empty (the apartment is in a very quiet no touristic area). If you are travelling alone I would recomend to stay closer to the touristic area, will make you feel safer. If you want to be far from the crowds this is your place.
