Kew itself is completely captivating with it's village charm which lets you catch a breath from the hustle and bustle London otherwise has to offer.

Iron/ ironing board, vacuum cleaner, TV. Even when the kitchenette is not a full working kitchen it helps you out for the more simple things.
The studio is located within a prestigious, quiet and secure development with the use of a very spacious leisure center (incl. swimming pool, jucuzzi, sauna and a very well equipped gym) and stunningly mantained gardens. It is well served by a good range of local shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants.
With direct access to the Thames and Thames Path there are perfect opportunities for long walks or to go jogging in gorgeous surroundings.

Martin and Bridget were wonderful hosts. They had a tiramisu cake waiting for us with "Welcome" on it. The studio is spacious, light and airy with modern furnishings, a great double bed, a seating area, dinette and microwave, hot plate, coffee maker, tea maker, toaster oven and really nice shower. It is on the second floor separate from the house and above the garage. It has a spiral staircase which Marilyn, even with a broken foot, had little trouble climbing. The hosts helped with our luggage. Coming and going require access through the host's ground floor area which was not a problem. They have two adorable dogs, Leah the older, and a young puppy, Emily in the yard between their home and the studio. We did breakfast at the studio most days, dinner only once since washing up is more complicated without a kitchen sink (we used the plastic wash tub provided and bathroom sink which worked for us). The location was an easy walk to the Kew Station with direct trains to London, a bus to Richmond, Hampton Court and into London is just a block or two away. Kew Station has several wonderful restaurants well worth trying and three coffee/pastry shops that are great. We had a very nice nine day stay with a lot of trips into London. Definitely invest in an Oyster Card for transportation when you're there. Thanks Bridget & Martin for a nice respite.
Martin & Bridget are wonderful hosts! Their location is in a private and beautiful neighborhood near a rail stop (Kew Gardens) allowing easy access to central London. Their location is a very short walk to grocery, pharmacy and retail stores. My son and I had a wonder time!
Martin and his family were perfect hosts. The apartment is ideally located for Kew Gardens, Richmond, and London. It is 5-10 minutes walk to Kew Gardens Station - a walk we enjoyed every day. We were in the area on business and getting to our meetings was an easy train journey to all destinations.
The neighborhood is friendly and the gardens beautifully maintained. We did not use the pool and gym but ran most days along the Thames River Path. Walking to Kew Gardens is delightful. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants in the area - we love walking and walked to pubs over the other side of Kew Bridge along the (email hidden)e apartment is ideal for a couple. There are limited cooking facilities - it was not a requirement for us - local pubs and restaurants and the occasional salad from M&S sufficed! :-)
A most comfortable apartment in a quiet and refined area. Close to shops and public transport
The hosts were very welcoming and hospitable during the period of my long stay (18 days). The room is in a separate from the main unit (you enter through the main unit, go out to a small terrace and then go up a short flight of stairs to the room). The room is spacious (queen bed, tv and sitting area, dining area) and an attached bathroom (shower, toilet, sink). The gym is across the street, is very up to date, and is fun to work out in (there's also a shallow pool in the building, but I did not make use of it). The National Archives, Kew Gardens, and Kew Tube Station (about 40 minutes to city center) are all a short walking distance. M&S grocery store and Boots pharmacy nearby. Bottom line: I enjoyed my stay in the unit very much, and I could not have asked for nicer and more hospitable hosts that are both friendly and also very respectful of their guest's privacy.
I could not have asked for a better set-up than what Martin and his family offered. If you are looking for a well-outfitted, clean place close to the National Archives, this is the place. I was able to walk to the Archives every day in under 5 minutes and find good food options along the way. Access to the condo gym and pool is great, and you can run along the Thames, which is right outside the condo complex. Martin and his family are very kind and welcoming people. I will definitely come back again on my next archives trip. Thank you!
Our 9 day stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly. This studio is a short walking distance
from our daughter's flat and very close to various shops including
grocery stores. Everything was very convenient.
The studio apartment was lovely and exactly as described. Martin and his family were extremely nice and hospitable and made us feel welcome right from the start. It was only a few minutes walk away from the tube station and a supermarket was just around the corner. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in a nice, quiet and safe place with good transportation links to the city. For us it was the perfect place to stay. Many thanks!!
Спасибо большое Мартину за гостеприимство! Потрясающий человек и великолепное место! В следующий раз в Лондон и только в Kew Gardens!
To Martin & Bridget. Marj and l had a wonderful time in London. We greatly appreciated your homely accommodation, warm friendship and caring local knowledge you offered. We would highly recommend a stay in your accommodation to all travellers.
