Me and my mother stayed in Monica's apartment for five nights and days of 'la dolce vita' in Rome. Monica is a great host. She waited for us at the apartment, gave us a tour and explained how everything worked. Check in and check out were very smooth. As for the apartment, we really liked it. Situated few steps from Piazza Navona, a vibrant place, it is ideal to explore Rome from by foot. The apartment is clean, nicely decorated, has a pleasant temperature and shuts out the sounds of the street. The little kitchen is very convenient! My mother found the stairs (63 steps, she counter them every day) a bit challenging but not a big problem. The neigbourhood is great as well! Great atmosphere, very nice places to eat and drink and interesting shops. Lots of antiques! Thank you Monica for a great stay!
Il Nido was just as the pictures show...very clean and plenty of space in the bedrooms to spread out! Just two of us in separate rooms...perfect for sleeping and waking at odd hours getting over jet lag! Beds were very comfy.
We didn't cook, but loved having coffee and tea facilities. And fridge. The kitchen was completely adequate for a short stay and of course we were out sampling the Roman cuisine everyday.
Monica was terrific...meeting me warmly even though it was almost 10pm! She insisted on carrying my bag for me up stairs!
The apartment is up three flights, with no elevator. Didn't bother us, but worth mentioning as so many places in Italy are up several flights that are not so easy for older travellers.
Loved the (email hidden)ar so many bars and restaurants it was impossible to choose the best. Having been to Rome before I was not atypical tourist but it is near to most tourist destinations.
Taxis outside made our departure at 6am very easy!
I'd definitely love to stay there again. Thanks so much Monica for being such an accommodating host.

We had a wonderful time in Rome. Monica was waiting at the apartment for more than 1 hour because our flight delayed. Everything was perfectly clean and exactly as described online. There was a cleaning lady cleaning up the apartment when we left so it was very professional organized. There were even a list of some nice restaurants and other important institutions around the apartment. It was a perfect stay and when I will visit Rome again I hope to find an apartment like this again. Thank You!
Everything was great! Monica met us (rather early in the day, thank you... :) and made us feel right at home. Everything was 100% as promised/explained. You cannot find a better situated place to walk to everything in Rome, even the Appian Way if you have the fortitude (we did!). If you want to jog, the pathway along the river is just a few blocks away. Communication was solid and great.
Monica was extremely helpful, both before and during our stay, and very welcoming and accommodating.
The apartment was delightful, and very clean and comfortable and well equipped, in a charming old building.
The bedrooms were very large and airy. The living area, however, could possibly be a bit crowded if there were four adults, as it is very small, but suited us two fine. However, most people are probably out most of the time, as we were.
The area best thing about the apartment is its amazingly central position in the middle of the centro historico.
Super lovely apartment in the heart of Rome! The apartment is perfect for 4 people and well equipped, with love. Monica is a great host! We will definitely come back next time!
