Completely remodeled 2 bedrooms,1 bath, apartment centrally located near via dei Coronari, a street famous for its antique dealing stores and few steps from Navona square, one of the most beautiful in Roma. On a third floor of a 17th century landmark building with no elevator, the approx. 800 sq. ft, very bright apartment is furnished with antiques and attention to details.
Large and bright master bedroom with queen size bed and an armoire. The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be adjoined to make one more queen size bed. Modern ceramic tiled bathroom with window, large shower, bidet and separate toilet room for privacy.
Small living room with sofa, table and four chairs, kitchen closet with one electric burner and (website hidden) with international channels, internet Wifi access, A/C completes the property.
Excellent location for tourists intereseid in discovering the magnificent of the "eternal city".
Next to the apartment you can find lots of restaurants with italian and international cuisine, wine bars, disco bars, market and souvenir shops with hand made objets. in the evening Navona square became populated of street artists giving to this place a unique charm.
The location is perfect: a few minutes by foot from the majority of sightseeing places in Rome. Taking into account the size of the city center this quality is probably the most important to any tourist.
The apartment is very clean and well kept. It is decorated and equipped with much love.
Monica is very friendly, helpful and easy to communicate.
There is no elevator and one has to carry the suitcases to the third floor climbing rather a steep staircase. However, this is nothing in comparison to the positive aspects mentioned above. Just keep in mind you are going to have some physical exercise on arrival.
There is not much space inside, but it is very thoughtfully organized. We experienced no problem staying there in four.
I would strongly recommend Monica's apartment to anyone seeking a perfect dwelling when visiting Rome.
Monica's place was great, all as advertised, clean, central to most Rome sightseeing places especially Piazza Navona (3 mins!). Just watch out on the electrical overload in the apartment, don't switch on heater combined with e.g. blower/cooker, or 3 "heavy" electrical appliances in one goal that's all. Many highly recommended restaurants around, just a few steps from the apartment, there is one very nice authentic Italian restaurant. I've picked up their business cards and it's all available for the following guests.
In Italy, dine only at places if they make fresh pasta, uses traditional ovens for their pizza. This is ultimately the real italian food. No go for anything less, it's an insult.
We stayed at Monica's apartment over Christmas and had a wonderful time! The apartment is right next to Piazza Navona and within walking distance to the Vatican, the Spanish Steps, and many great restaurants. Monica was a great host and even arranged private transportation to and from the airport. Would definitely stay here again!
Monica was such a wonderful host. We were two friends travelling with our two baby girls. Monica made sure the apartment was safe for our babies and even bought them lovely gifts! The location of the apartment is great, we walked to all the major Rome attractions. The apartment itself is also lovely, with big bedrooms and a modern bathroom. Highly recommended!
Such a wonderful host!
Monica was super nice and charming. Her place is perfectly located, comfortable, clean and cosy.
Amazing place, amazing service, amazing location. Highly recommended. Host is top notch. Bellissimo!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Monica's apartment last week! Monica herself is a charming and very gracious host: she arranged to have our Papal Visit tickets picked up and personally delivered them to us at the Vatican as time was short, took our luggage to the apartment and greeted us there several hours later. She also checked in with us via email during our stay to see if we had any questions. The apartment itself is exactly as shown on the airbnb site and extremely clean and very comfortable. The internet worked great, the location cannot be beat, and Monica really made us feel welcome. Now that I have stayed at another airbnb property (in Florence) I have a comparison: the fan in the large bedroom so you close the window and still have air moving, the information left for visitors in the hallway, the explanation of how to use the internet, and the special touch of checking in to see how our stay was going were all extra's that we appreciated. The only suggestion I gave to Monica for change was to make the street address more apparent on the site as we were perplexed by this upon arrival. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat and I'm really picky!
Great location to stay in rome! Everything you need is close by. Very functional apartment with a fantastic and friendly host! Plenty of room for the 3 of us.
